I have moved something different to Sunday and will rotate this with Simple Sunday as I have projects to show! I thought today I would show the box I made using the Craft Die by Sue Wilson from Creative Expressions that was the very first of Sue's dies I bought. This die still remains my favourite (for now!) as it is so versatile!
I have repeated the pattern a few times, as I demoed on C&C last week, to make a whole page of the pattern I then used this to make into the box shown!
I hope that the number of pictures will cover the lack of description. I have had a lot of requests to make more video's on my you tube channel and whilst at the moment I simply don't have the time it do this I am hoping to get started again as soon as I can.
Ingredients:
Craft Dies by Sue Wilson Californian background
CE Clear stamps Daisy Corner Elements by me
Coconut White foundation card
Vintage Gold Foundation card.
Enjoy...

Morning John,
ReplyDeleteFabulous gift idea, I have this die, but I must say it's a bit of a problem to cut, so don't use it that often, mind you it could be my G/C, not been very happy with it's performance. I have a new Big Shot Plus on order I hope that may be better.

ReplyDeleteI love using filigree dies for boxes and this one looks terrific. I tend to line mine with some acetate as I find them a little flimsy otherwise.
Your stamped cards are a fabulous addition.
Have a great day.

Great project John and the box and cards etc are lovely. Looking forward to some video tutorials as I am more of a visual learner than a written one.
ReplyDeleteThis is so good, John.a stunning idea.
ReplyDeleteI can usually make one of your boxes from pics, but in this case, it would help to know if you made it from one sheet of A4, or made more for the gussets etc., OR if you just gave dimensions.
