End of an Era...

Happy Monday,

I have a mixed bag of news today we are finally moving into our new home however as this is a new build,d the internet may not be fitted until after christmas!  This will cause problems with the blog as I'm not able to schedule that many posts in advance it means that the blog will become intermittent until the new Year.

I will try to post as often as possible I'm hoping for every other day,  however This is not going to be guaranteed I'm sorry to say.  From the new year the blog will be live on certain days and I will update as soon as I know what is happening with the blog.

I thought I would share a christmas card today made with the Crafts Too Glitter foam and my snowflake square die set and poinsettia.

Part Two...

Happy Saturday,

Here is the inside of the scene card box I shared yesterday I used the snowflake edger as well as the deer sevens for the seven inside.  I love the way you can really go to town on the inside with layers easily captured and neat!

Christmas Friday Part One...

Happy Friday,

Today I am sharing a scene card box made for the festive period however I am sharing the inside tomorrow so tune in on Saturday to see what's inside!

I used my snowflake square die set for the front which I extended to give a rectangular panel before adding it to blue card covered in double sided adhesive so I could add clear glitter.

I then added the ribbon strip and bow and a cascade of snowflakes in silver and blue shaded white.

Tune in tomorrow to see the inside!

simple wreath...

Happy Thursday,

a simple card today that was planned as demo on last weeks shows but didn't get done as the ODS sold out so quickly!

This was made with a mix of the Rectangle and circle scalloped dies from press cut

of course I had to add a foam poinsettia as I'm adding them to everything at the moment!

Gingerbread Man...

Happy Wednesday,

I rarely do 'cute' cards but I just love the little gingerbread man form Press Cut that I had on last weeks shows.

The gingerbread man is cut in kraft card and backed in white,.  I then shaded around the edges with black pigment ink and used enamel accents for the eyes, bow tie and the icing buttons and cuffs.

A little cute but I really like the change of style.

Another Wreath...

Happy Wednesday,

Another wreath today and the same flower die but a change of colour and product for the flowers and a completely different card is made.

The flowers are yellow Craft Artist flower moulding foam inked with orange Izink pigment ink and shaped by hand.

The wreath is made with a  collection of my Foliage Dies cut form pearl card that I "coloured" with different izink pigment inks and then cut to give a more realistic look.

Swirl Poinsettia white...

Happy Tuesday,

As promised another sample using the new Poinsettia swirl stamp that matches the Poinsettia dei.  I have used it here for a christmas card however there are some projects coming non christmas with this.  O really wanted to show the sentiments in the swirl text so went with the Merry Christmas!

I stamped the single flower stamp which stamps all 6 in one go in white pigment ink before embossing this with clear glitter embossing powder from Izink.  I cut these out suing the matching die and shape then just by pinching the edges of the petals.
The wreath at the back is made using my rose leaves and elderflower dies with black enamel accents on the ends of the elderflower which just balances the black sentiment and adds some interest and definition.

I used the with love tag set to mat and layer the sentiment and aded this in the middle.

A time consuming card but I think worth it, especially as I think my mum will get this at Christmas

The birds and the Flowers...

Happy Monday,

More samples and projects coming with the new swirl poinsettia stamp form tomorrow however today I am sharing card made with the die alone again a change of colour and, to me at least, a totally different looking flower!

Here Ive teamed them up with some of my training ivy cut in paper and some bought flowers in pink and blue to add a level of delicacy.

I do think they make the perfect spray to hang my birdcages from!  The background is made using my large media plate, pigment ink and Izink glitter embossing powder.

Stamping Saturday...

Happy Saturday,

Today's card is made form bits form last weekends demos at Inspirations in preston where I was asked to show how the media plates work.

I inked the butterfly plate with Pigment ink and bartered over the top to smooth the ink.  I then ran the brayer down a piece of paper to make the background.  I then stamped butterflies  form the Crafts Too Multilayer stamp set.

I added Izink clear glitter embossing powder over bath pieces and heat set them.  I cut the butterfly out and added this, in the corner, with a foam flower to add an exotic edge to this colourful project
