Well I am well on my way to another mammoth slew of shows on Hochanda and Demoing! Tomorrow I am at Sharon's Card Craft in Swanley Kent, after that I am back on your screens tomorrow night at 8pm with decoupage One Day Special. However Today I have three shows, 10am, 2pm and 6pm with some beautiful new stamps from Sam Poole.
I often get asked where does my inspiration come from well on this card it came from the T-shirt I was wearing whilst making it! I will try to have this to show you on the shows today so you can judge the similarity!
The second card is the same transfer tape technique as I used for this card HERE (link works Honest!) which I made with Phill Martins range of stamps, paper and the Cosmic shimmer Colour Cloud inks.
Hopefully you can join me today if not there is always tomorrow, or Friday, or Sunday lol.

Its a giveaway day but first the amazing Talented and hilarious on a six hour drive across the country Julia Watts is on Hochanda today with her Magic with Masks shows ( these won't involve Julia wearing different animal masks cut from the back of cornflake packet honest! lol) Julia will be on at 10am, 1pm and 6pm it would be great if you could tune in I know I am so I can steal more techniques from her!
I thought it would be nice to show a card I made for the shows I did with ue Wilson last year as it features the counterpane mask and iced snow. This is hopefully one of the techniques Julia will show.
If you would like the chance to win this card simply leave a comment on this post.
P.s. Dont forget I am on Hochanda tomorrow ( I nearly forgot its been a busy weekend lol) with the new watercolour stamps by Sam Poole tune in tomorrow for a sneak peak!

Julia and I had a fab weekend at Craftasmic in Taunton I must say thank you to the wonderful people who attended and made it such fun and especially to Julie and James who looked after us so well! I got home after midnight last night so I'm afraid its a quick sneak peak post today.
I will be doing a 2 hour masterclass on Hochanda next Sunday on Stamps to die for. I have been asked by lots of crafters how to work with the Creative Expressions stamps that match Sue Wilson's die range. We thought the best way was to do a TV masterclass to show everyone.
Today's card uses the Infinite Reflections stamp to die for that matches the Porto die from the Portuguese collection. If there is anything you would like to know about Stamps to die for, how to stamp, cut or use them then please email me your questions and I will try to answer them on Sundays show!

Fantastic workshop day at Craftasmic in Taunton yesterday we had a few laughs as well as some serious crafting! I'm back there today for a set of demos once again the tickets are all sold out I afraid but it may be worth popping to the shop and seeing if you can hover at the back if you want to see Julia or me!
I thought I would show you the daisy card form the video I did on you tube for Creative Expressions as lots of you seemed to like it. I have to admit I wasn't overly happy with it as I think it could have looked cleaner and be neater with more time!
I used the watercolour Mica Palettes and my Daisy Corner stamp set ( still one of my most popular sets) to make this simple card. To get the details you will need to watch the video on the link HERE
Here's a few close ups of the card, its really to show you the techniques. If you are loving the watercolour palettes then I have a show on Hochanda on Wednesday with them along with some stunning new stamps (great for beginners as well as experienced crafters) designed by Sam Poole. The Christmas watercolour set, which sold out in August, is finally back in stock and will be on the show as well! times to be confirmed.

I am with Julia Watts at CRaftasmic in Taunton today and tomorrow for Workshops and Demos all the tickets have sold out Im afraid however Julia will be demoing in the shop today so pop in and see Julia weave her Magic with Sue Wilson's range of dies and cosmic shimmer!
I was talking to Julia last night over dinner and she informed me that the Background stamps for my 12 days of christmas are now available to everyone. I didn't know these had come out as I originally had these as an exclusive on Create and Craft when I launched my 12 days of christmas range. Julia will be using the Pear Square stamp in her demo today so I thought it might be nice to show some of the samples I made using these stamps!
The next shot is of the 12 days stamps simply stamped in white detail embossing powder onto rich red card a really effective and quick christmas card.
It wouldn't be me and christmas if there wasn't one in gold on black now would it? lol

Do't forget Sue Wilson has shows on Hochanda Today at 8pm then tomorrow at 9am, 12pm, 4pm and 7pm with the second part of her Festive Die release!
I had lots of comments about Wednesday design team card and the technique I used for the colouring and lots of my blog friends asked if I could do a video of the technique well you asked for it so its here. Luckily a few weeks ago Phill Martin and I were invited in to shoot a couple of videos whilst Sue Wilson was shooting her wonderful you tube shows. A couple of you spotted that they had been uploaded onto the Creative Expressions You Tube channel and have viewed it!
The video is on the new watercolour plates and different techniques you can do using them. The cards opposite are the first examples from this video where I used the daffodil burst striplet stamp on black card. To find the details of how these were made and a few other watercolour tips then you will need to watch the video!
So here is the first video showing how to use the watercolour paints, a later instalment shows the colour cloud and masking technique. One of the pieces i made in the video is shown above if you want to see the original card with the colour clouds then click HERE ( The Link Works today! lol)
I have added a few shots of the different cards above so that you can get a better view of the colour options!

Thanx for all your wishes that I have a relaxing day off, I did! Well for me anyway I cleared and organised my Craft Cave as Mrs Duck would call it! to me that's a relaxing day off, today I am back at it preparing for the wonderful tag Team Crafting weekend at Craftasmic with Julia Watts this weekend.
Today's card is another of the Hochanda Demos however I can't give this one away as Its already been given.
When I was at Hochanda a couple of weeks ago a lady (Pauline I think) emailed one of the ladies on the call centre checking which colours of Foundation Card I had used to make this one so I decided to post her the card so she could check for herself!
There is little story to this card as this was not how It was supposed to turn out however I couldn't find the original card on air so I used the bits to make this different version using the same dies, colours and cut pieces. To see the what this card should of looked like then click HERE to see the original post! Personally I like both but it would be interesting to see what my blog family think!
The thing I like about this card is that by cutting the main element you can see all the detail of where the border strips meet in the middle. I decided, live on air , to make this the feature and used the flowers around the top right to balance the piece and highlight the wonderful detail.

Well its back to the usual routine now that Crafting at Ally Pally is over for this year. I have to admit its left me a little tired so will be taking today off to recharge the batteries as I have a busy couple of weeks ahead (nothing new there!)
Its back to my design team gig for Creative Expressions and this month we have all been working with Phil Martin's Dragonfly collection of stamps and paper pack. As you know I have kinda fallen for the new colour cloud blending inks from Cosmic Shimmer so this was a perfect chance to create and ethereal background for the main stamped image using the inks. I promise you its a lot easier than it looks!
I stared by die cutting a circle of Cricut transfer in the middle of a square of the tape. Next I stuck this down onto coconut white foundation card and using my scalpel, cut the circle into the waves. I removed each wave section of the circle in turn and shaded the revealed area using colour cloud blending ink lilac whisper. Next I peeled back the next layer and and added more lilac whisper however this time I mixed in a little clear day to alter the colour and give the hazy look.
I then continued revealing layers adding clear day, lilac whisper and indigo mist to make all the shades shown.
Next I removed the outside transfer tape square I then inked the stamp using indigo mist and lilac whisper to give shading and stamped this over the inked circle.
To finish the card I added layers of black and white interspersed with matching pages form Phil's dragonfly paper pack. The colours work together so well with the coloured image.

Below are the winners from the weekend however I found another Card from my Hochanda Shows that I have to give away so theres a bonus chance today! If you want to win todays card simply comment below, I have decided to do a weekly giveaway whether that be a Card, MDF piece or a stamp set etc so every Tuesday from now on will be giveaway day!
Todays card is the demo card I didi on Hochanda to shows wonderful paper Grouting technique. This is where you use a plastic card to grout the debased side of an embossed piece of card using sparkle texture paste. I tied this with the outside die from the Canadian background (honestly I could keep using this die forever lol)
I added a flower made using the dandelion clocks die set and the maidenhair fern. With the ferns I grouted these with texture paste as well so that they had a little shimmer on them to match the background.
The winners from the weekend are:
Thursday - Rachel Macfarlane
Friday - Ruth Jameson
Saturday - Barbara W
Sunday - Anne (till Lady)
Monday - Mrs B
Simply email me at Lockers@live.co.uk with your address and I will send the appropriate card to you, please mark your email with which day you won as I get seriously confused at times (typical bloke I know lol)

I got back from a tiring but Fab weekend crafting at Ally Pally where I met so many of my wonderful Blog Family and just collapsed into bad! So sorry that todays post is late however better late than never het?!? lol
Today is the last day of my Ally Pally Giveaway weekend so this is your last chance to win one of my Hochanda demo cards, just leave a comment to win todays card. I will select all the winners this evening and post the winners tomorrow.
I thought you might all like to see the Card box I made with the Canadian background die along with the card that matches. I also got asked for the sizes which I had posted on Facebook so I thought I should post them on here as well!
score your card to the following measurements (A4 card) 1.5cm, 3cm, 14cm, 15.5cm, 17cm, 28cm, 29cm on the landscape side. and 3cm along the bottom and 1.5cm along the top (portrait side)
These are the basic folds to make the box ready to Die cut. Next you simply Die cut the 2 dis form the Canadian Background separately from the front panel.
To make the flap I simply die cut the Pyxsis gemini die using the centre panel and one of the edges to make a panel to make the flap detailed. I adhered this to the folded flap and cut the edges off so that It fits (this was a lot easier to explain in a demo!)
To finish I added Pastel Lilac PVA glue dots in the centre of each flower and added a tie of matching thin double sided satin ribbon.
I made a simple folded card using the background and added a happy birthday die cut across the front. You could add any sentiment to this card front it would make great invitations?!?
To win this card and box simply leave a comment below.
Also I have passed on all the emails I have received regarding Hochanda to the Marketing lady there. I know she is working through them and will answer as soon as possible.

I had a great time at Crafting at Allyn Pally Yesterday and Sue Wilson, Phil Martin, Julia Watts, Lisa Horton and I are all raring to go for another day today! I managed to |Leave my Laptop Locked away in the box office so I ma writing this post sat in the Hotels reception, hows that for last minute! lol
Today's card is not the one planned as I don't have access to all my pictures and so Have gone with this card I made at a demo a couple of months ago!
To keep with the giveaway today's chosen winner will receive one of my Christmas Cards chosen at random on my return, so to be in with a chance of winning a randomly selected card just comment on today's post!
The floating Angel is simply made by cutting the Sue Wilson 2015 Christmas angel in black foundation card and adding pewter gilding wax all over her. I then spray glued her onto a piece of acetate and wrapped this around the panel made by cutting the snowflake mini striplet three times in succession.
A quick post but You don't get long when sat in reception!

One of my demo cards from the Hochanda shows I did a couple of weeks ago I thought that these cards all deserved their day on the blog as some of them took quite a while to prep (especially as for a demo they have to be done twice)
As the preparations for the Crafting at Ally Pally event is getting more demanding and during the event itself I thought you might all like to see these cards in more detail. Also I will be giving away each card each day until Monday!
For your chance to win todays card just leave a comment on this blog post or on Facebook!
The previous winners that have emailed their addresses have all now been sent out however I am waiting on a couple so Click HERE to see the original winners post!

Todays stamp to die for reveal is the Dragonfly mini triplet, I have to admit I spent ages getting the flowers on this one to look just right not too many petals not too few lol!
I stared by stamping the image in watering can archival ink (a strong grey shade that doesn't have the harshness of black) Next I shaded down from the top using indigo mist colour cloud blending ink next I blended down using clear day colour cloud ( these are part of my basic colour palette however I use the indigo mist all the time!) This technique ijust gives a soft sky that lightens towards the base.
Next I coloured the flowers using the colour cloud ink that I splurged, is that a technical term, onto my craft mat with a smoothie. I then picked up the colour using a water brush and coloured the flowers and foliage using the colour I picked up.
I used the following colours to highlight the detail in the stamped image.
By using the blending ink in this way i was able to get several different shades using the same colour just by varying the amount of ink on the water brush.
To make the remainder of the card I simply die cut the aperture form one of the mini striplets in a square of blue dusk foundation card. I then cut the square using the double pierced noble squares die set. I matted this on coconut white foundation card and added it, with from tape of course, onto a larger square piece cut with the noble sqaures with a thin mat of coconut white added again.
Finally I added a strip of matching ribbon along one side and a bow!

Another new stamp to die for reveal today and a new concept which is in and out stamps. These 2 stamps were designed to match the new Sue Wilson for Creative Expressions Heraldic square die. The difference is that there is an innie stamp and an outie stamp, both of which I have used for this card. I have to say that Mr ND said that this is the nicest card he has seen form me this year! maybe its because I've used peach for the first time! lol
This is in a similar style as yesterdays card however this time I thought id go for a rectangular card.
Sorry for the large picture but I wanted you to see the detail on this one lol!
I stared by stamping the Lotus inner stamp in jet black archival onto coconut white I coloured the image using distress markers by shading the edges then pulling the colour out using a water brush. Next I stamped the outer lotus stamp onto coconut white, coloured it then cut the aperture using the square form the heraldic square die. I lined up one of the double pierced square noble dies around this to centre it and cut it out. The next step was to foam mount this square over the inner stamped image as you can see the designs mirror each other perfectly and give a real depth and dimension to your creations.
I matted this onto a larger square of peach card and, as yesterday, added 2 charming lace Trim (i think these are going to appear on loads of my cards in the near future) on the top and bottom.
I cut the new Diagonal folded flower from white felt and made up the flower by glueing the 2 edges together and rolling the flower up. AS you can see this gives a really different flower with petals that shot off at a diagonal. I can't wait to try this coloured with some cool cloud I think there are some great effects to be created in this one! I then added 2 of the laurel sprays behind and a triple bow made of black twine from my stash.
To make the backing I used the noble double pierced rectangular die. I then embossed this with the bed of roses embossing folder and matted this onto a thin layer of peach and then black. I have added thin black mats to this card as the stamping is a definitive black and when using black stamping it is always best to balance it using black elsewhere on the card.
I cut a larger mat of white using the double pierced rectangles which leaves a lovely faux pierced edge around the card. whilst this is not as deep or a definitive as hand piercing it works really well for giving the effect, and you know me anything for a quick effect! lol Finally I added 5mm stick on pearls in the corners and the points of the charming lace trim.
