Happy Monday,
Today's card hopefully shows how the different collections in my Christmas ranges are designed and sized to all work together with a mix of the Deer Scenes and the Wreath set.
I started by making the background panel using Izink Pigment ink pads and Crafst Too Large Daubers to give a northern lights style of background. I then added a strip of the Deer Scenes die cut accross the bottom which I shaded using Izink silver pigment ink pad and the small finger daubers.
I added acetate over the top and drew soon off this using a white gel pen. I the slotted this behind a panel in Blue with the Snowflake wreath cut form it and a white version slotted in place.
I then cut the Snowflakes die in white and blue and stacked these up to make 2 large snowflake flowers. I added these at opposing corners and used the smaller snowflakes around the wreath.
Finally I added craft artist glue with a brush around the snowflakes nod the edge of the card before adding Clear Crafts Too Chunky glitter.
Ingredients:
JND Snowflake Wreath die set
JND snowflakes die set
JND Deer Scenes Die Set
Izink Pigment Ink pads

Northern Lights...
Happy Friday,
Final scene card for the week this time using the deers in black against a Northern Lights style of sky.
For the background I sprayed a piece of watercolour card with water and then sprayed on the Izink Dye sprays which have a marvellous intense colour. I then threw on rock salt which reacts with the ink removing it in places and leaving sections that look like rust stains. I really felt when finished this would make a perfect northern lights style sky.
I simply cut one of the deer scenes dies in black and placed this over tying bakers twine around the bottom and adding a poinsettia stamped in white onto Teal card and shaped.
Ingredients:
Izink dye sprays ( mix colours)
JND Deer Scenes die set
JND Poinsettia Stamps
JND Poinsettia Die

Snow through a window...
Happy Wednesday,
Another Scene Card sample today and I haver to admit that although one of the simplest cards I have made tis is one of my absolute favourite! I think its the colour and the simplicity that appeals to me!
I started by lightly inking the Crafts Too Snowdrops embossing folder with Sky Blue izink pigment ink pad. I then letterpresses this with a piece of white watercolour card. This gives the soft blue background whilst keeping the snow white!
Next I cut the piece using my Square and circle media plate die set ( this contains all the plain and stitched circle and square dies used for this card) I then used other dies in the set to cut an ultramarine and a silver mirror card layers for this fair mounting between each layer.
I then cut one of the scene dies from the snow scenes die set in more watercolour card and added this, with fake tape again of course, on top of the circle cut form the top layer. This was added behind the main lament to give almost a scene within a scene.
Next I added a bow of striped satin ribbon at the top of the circle and added a spray of my Swirl Ivy leaves set. I finished with a poinsettia in the centre made using the Crafts Too Glitter foaming a gem in the centre.
Ingredients:
JND Media Plate Die set Square circle
JND Snow scenes die set
JND swirl Ivy die set
JND Poinsettia Die
Craft Too snowdrops embossing folder

Green Holly...
Happy Wednesday,
It does seem a little strange to be sharing christmas cards in this weather we are having! I am sat typing this next to a window and the heat is streaming in but I know so many people like to get a start on their cards! Today I thought I would share a card made with the Holly and Ivy Frame, although this is a rectangular frame it can easily be cut, as if it was designed that way!, into three panels that fit together to make a square.
I started by cutting a rectangular piece off card slightly bigger than the Holly and Ivy frame die. I then cut the die into this and shaded through the die using verbena and mint Izink dye based ink pad. I attached the panel to another piece of white card wintry Spray glue and then cut this into three equal panels.
I arranged the 2 outer panels on a square of Christmas Green Crafts Too Linen card and then foam mounted the centre panel in the middle. Hopefully the picture shows how the centre panel fits perfectly and looks like an offset piece.
I cut the Holly and Ivy sentiment, from the same set, in the green then the white. I shaded the white using the same 2 colours of izink dye ink. I added the coloured version on top of the green one and added these too an oval panel cut with the Media Plate rectangular dies. I cut a mat in green using dies from the same set and added this in the centre of the card.
I gently released the holly from the frame ( thats one of the best things about spray glue) and added these over the tag in the centre.
Finally I added the Swirl Ivy cut again in white and the green behind the sentiment tag and added layers of embossed white and green to make the card as shown.
Ingredients:
JND Holly and Ivy die set
JND Media Plate die set Rectangle
JND Swirl Ivy die set
Izink Dye ink pads Verbena and Mint
Crafts Too Linen Card Christmas Green.

See the Flowers...
Another card made using the Scene card box die today there will a quite a few of these popping up over the next couple of weeks as I loved making them!
Todays card uses the same technique to make the bike iwever I have altered the front by adding a window through this using my media plate rectangle die set.
I stared by cutting the Holly and Ivy die set in gold mirror card. I spray glued this to a piece of white card and cut the panel out using the rectangle di in the Scene card box die set. I then cut the centre with the oval die from the media plate die set adding a gold layer cut with the smaller stitched die in the set.
For the inside I embossed a piece cut with the sane rectangle from the set and slid this onto the box. I used the waste form the front ( the gold and white ovals) and matted and layers these into the centre. I then simply added the Holly and Ivy sentiment form the Holly and Ivy set and the poinsettias.
I stamped the poinsettias in gold izink pigment ink onto vellum then cut the whole set out using the matching die. I made up three flowers adding white micro beads in the centre of each flower. I arranged these to one side on gold Ivy cut form them mini swirl ivy dies included in the holy and Ivy die set.
I love the way you can see the sentiment through the window on the front but the flowers wont get crushed!
Ingredients:
JND Scene Card box die set
JND Holly and Ivy die set
JND Poinsettia Clear stamp
JND poinsettia die
Izink pigment ink pad Gold

Northern Lights...
Happy saturday,
A simple card made using the Media Plate Frames and new christmas stamps today.
I simply used the Square and circle frame and izink pigment inks to make the frame. I then cut this using the matching media frame die sets. The central section is cut using the circles that are included in the set.
The Centre panel is made using izink pigment ink onto Black card to give the Northern Lights look ( the pigment inks are so much easier to work with for techniques and give a wonderful chalky look)

I stamped a mix of Snowflakes form my snowflakes clear stamp set onto the media plate frame. These are stamped in Silver, Gold and Copper pigment ink pads using them onto the plate softens the look giving the dimensional look on the frame.
I cut the frame out using the matching die set with just a gold mirror card layers which brings out the gold.
The centre is stamped in gold and blended using more gold ink and a finger dauber to soften the look.
I matted and layers the card in more white and gold using the new Falling Snow embossing folder from Crafts Too ( part of an offer on the Hochanda shows next week) to soften the look,

Gold Kings...
Happy Saturday,
A simple scene card today made with the media plate frames die set and the Holly Quilt mask sometime we ned a quick and Blingy Christmas card.
I started by spreading izink Diamonds through the mask onto Christmas Red Linen card from Crafts Too The Diamonds work better than anything else I have tried with masks and stencils as the thin formulation shows all the details of the pattern. Once dry ( which takes about 20 minutes) I cut the piece using the largest square and the largest circle in the die set ( the stitched edge dies)
I used the other dies in the set to mount this onto black then gold mirror card.
For the centre panel I stamped the three kings from the Festive Silhouettes clear stamp set onto black card. I then masked off the stamped images with a piece of torn card and shaded down using a finger dauber and more of the Izink Gold pigment ink.
I stamped the small stars stamp, from the snowflakes clear stamp set, in white izink pigment in using first and second generation stamping. Finally adding a gold star for the kings to follow!
A few layers of red, black and gold to finish a small card with a,ot of glitz!

JND Media Plate die set Squares
JND Festive Silhouettes stamp set
JND Snowflakes stamp set

Moody Scene...
Happy Friday,
If you are visiting the Crafting Live event at Doncaster this weekend I will demonstrating on the Art of Craft stand ( which is usually just by the entrance) if you are going pop along and say hi!
Today I am sharing a rare card for me one were i got inky ( not that inky as used the Izinks and the finger daubers so no mess) and built a scene.
I started with a piece of white smooth card and masked off the moon using a die cut circle. I then used 3 shades of blue Izink dye based ink staring with the lightest colour and working to the darkest. I used the finger daubers to stroke the ink from the centre of the circle to the outside making sure the darkest shade was arround the edges of the 'moon'
I then removed the mask and used the lightest blue colour to shade over the edge of the moon shape.
I then stamped the trees form my festive silhouettes clear stamp set in the darkest blue shade. I then went over these using the stame stamps and black ink which gives the shadow.
Finally I added star by inking g the small stars stamps ( form my Snowflakes set) once and continually stamping this over the skyline.
Finally I cut the whole image using my media plate frame square dies and matted these onto black layers to give the faux triple stamping look.
Enjoy...

Things with Wings...
Happy Friday,
A mix of techniques today with Media Plates, Stamping Heat Embossing die cutting shading you name it!
I started by making a Media Plate background using my Large Media Plate and the Butterfly and Dragonfly stamp sets using Izink Pigment ink pads. As I had used Pigment in for the background I was able to add white glitter embossing powder over it and heat set this to add texture.
I cut my Birdcage dies and birds in pearl card and shaded them with Izink dye based inks in ultramarine and night. I love the way the birds look when shaded as all the deboss detail shows through.
I cut just the detail dies form the large butterfly die set and added pearls in the centre before adding these on as if in flight.
I made up the card as shown using press cut Stitch Dot squares to frame the pice and give an anchor for the ribbon holding the birdcages.
Ingredients:
JND Birds and Cages die set
JND Large Butterfly die set
JND large Media Plate
JND Dragonfly and Butterfly stamp sets
Press Cut Stitch Dot square Die set.

Ocean Breeze...
Happy Saturday,
I am holding workshops at Colemans Craft Wharehouse in Rushden today Im really looking forward to it as we will be using mat Time Flies die and some new techniques as well as the Bee Balm Collection.
Today's card is again made with pieces left over form a demo I love to show what can be made quickly and that not every card has to have 2 hours spent on it!
I cut the largest die from the Bee Balm Ovals set twice facing each other into a piece of watercolours card. I left the die in place and shaded through this using Crafts Too finger daubers and Izink Ocean dye based ink pad. I then shaded the remainder of the card and cut it outs using the press cut notched square dies.
I then added shaded swirl leaves die cuts and Bee Balm flowers stamped in clear embossing powder and cut in Vellum. I shaded the edges of the petals using the same Ocean ink and made a spray of the flowers and leaves running through the centre adding Crafts Too Diamonds in the centres of the flowers and the flowers on the b background.
Finally I mounted this over a piece of silver mirror card and added crystal strips around the edge.
Ingredients:
JND Bee Balm Flowers stamps and die
JND Bee Balm Ovals die set
Press Cut Notched Squares die set
watercolours card
Izink Ocean dye Ink Pad.

Floating Butterflies...
Happy Tuesday,
Today I am sharing a card made with another new die from the Bee Balm Collection the Bee Balm Ovals along with the new Large Butterflies.
The Butterflies have been designed in the same manner as the Dragonflies with a solid die and a matching delicate overlay die there are so many ways you can use these!
For this card I used the Largest Die form the ovals sets and cut it twice into a piece of card facing to make a large circle. I shaded through the die to add the colour and simply added the foliage - more on this tomorrow- and the Large butterflies.
The range will launch on Friday night on Hochanda at 6pm.

Bee Balm Peek!...
Happy Monday,
I had a fab weekend in Kent at the Create It show and it was so lovely to meet so many old and new friends and members of the blog family!
I promised yesterday that I would be starting to sneak peak my new collection today so I present the Bee Balm collection. This is all based arround the Bee Balm flower ( a Bergamot but I prefer the Colloquial name Bee Balm!)
This is a deceptively simple card made using g the Bee Balm flower plate die and matching stamp set. As with the Gerbera Daisy there is a single stamp with all the flowers own it and a matching plate that slots over using the registration marks on the corner of the stamped image. The stamped bees come form the stamp set wit the flowers.
I simply added the swirl leaves die and some hat pins to finish.
The whole range will launch this Friday at 6pm as the One Day special on Hochanda keep watching this week for more sneak peaks or tune in on Friday or through the day Saturday.
