Happy Tuesday,

Im back today on Hochanda with a special guest Martine Smith who will be helping me with the flowers as they are her speciality.  The shows are at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.  Topday I thought I would share a softer card made singing elements from the Oakham die set and the Poppy with the matching stamp used today!

I love the way the stamp puts all the detail into the flower a bit of colouring and you get a really precise look.

For the reminder of the card I just used 3 of the dies in the Oakham set and the new ferns die .

Release Day Oakham!

My full new Range launches this evening on Hochanda and I wanted to share a project today that uses most of the elements of this collection ( sorry) but its a small collection lol Join me at 6pm on Hochanda to see the release in full!


The main element of this card is the new Square Scene box card which is a square version of my scene box card.  You can use all the dies for the original for this one as the length is the same!  This was designed to work as a card or gift form 5" x 5" all the way up to 8"x 8" with mating and layering as I have done here.

The Scene box square is perfect, as Ive used it here, to protect your flower or make a piece of wall art ( I've already got a friends wall in mind for this one!

The Oakham Lattice die set is designed to fit exactly as an opening for the box or for layers within as well as being useful on its own ( I hate it when a die is only for one purpose!)

For this Project I used the Poppy die ( without the matching stamp) on the Craft Artist Flower foam inking the edges with black Izink Pigment ink before simply hand moulding the flowers.  These are surrounded by my new Foliage die set Ferns.

For the corners I used the smaller poppy centres as their own flowers and the new Swirl Leaf ( inspired by the fabulous Martine Smith who will be joining me on the shows tomorrow)

Snowflakes 2...

Another card made with a new die launching on Monday evening at 6pm on hochanda.  This time its the turn of the snowflake wreath set which has a wreath, circle corners and the snowflake stags head die they are all shown on the card.

I have found this die set so useful and have used the elements together and speratley on loads of different projects so you will see more detail on this one over the next few weeks!

Sneak Peek Snowflakes...

A quick sneak peek today of the Elegant Snowflake collection launching on Monday evening on Hochanda at 6pm.

Todays card is made with the new Snowflake square from the new Elegant Snowflake collection.

I've used the Star Tags form the last collection and the new snowflakes die set which Ive used to make a snowflake flower ( you will see a lot of these popping up in the coming weeks as I love the way these stack together too  make the flower like embellishment)

The collection launches on Monday night at 6pm on Hochnada with shows through Tuesday at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.

Sneek Peek Christmas 2...

I thought it was time I shared a peek of my new Christmas die release that launches on Hochanda Monday evening at 6pm.  This release has 2 main collections however as it is the 3rd Birthday of Hochanda there may be new things popping up at different hours!

The first new die I want to share is the large lantern die.  This is designed to create a full size (5" wide x 7" tall) Lantern with 2 sheets of A4 card and 2 passes through your die cutting machine.

Here are 2 examples cut in black with my poinsettias and scene dies inside and also in distressed Kraft card with an autumnal feel with the Gerbera Leaves and acorns.

There is also a mini version which makes a smaller lantern in the same style here i used it to make a string of Christmas lights.

The Holly and The Ivy...

I'm so glad to be able to start sharing some teasers for my New Christmas die range which Launches on Hochanda Thursday evening at 6pm!  Over the next few days I will revel a different sample and die each day starting today with the Holly and Ivy frame used here with the Snow Scenes and the Card Scene Die ( all will come clear on the show!)

I have only used the frame form this set for todays card however there is a mini swirl Ivy set included as well as the Sentiment that I showed as a sneak peak yesterday.

I simply shaded through the die using 2 colours of Izink dye based inks (  mint and Emerald) then shading arround the inner edge of the die cut.

The back is made using a Crafts Too embossing folder that will also be on Thursday and Fridays shows I love the snow on this one!

Here Ive used the Scene Card box ( which is a die designed to easily make a dimensional card for depth and great for shaker cards) and the Snow scenes die set which has all the dies need for this village scene with the small houses and tress.

Christmas Launch...

Tonight at 6pm I launch my new Media Plate Frames, masks and Christmas stamps on Hochnada ( Freeview 85, Sky 673 and online at www.hochanda.com)  I hope you can join me as its so much easier to demonstrate the new frames than explain them!

To day I am sharing the Square media plate frame with the square aperture along with the snowflake stamps

Circle Square Christmas...

Another sample from my Hochanda shows and the launch of the Media Plate frames and dies tomorrow on Hochanda.  Today Ive used the Snowflake stamp set, the metal Izink pigment inks and the Square media plate frame with the Circle aperture ( Which fits the original circle perfectly!)

For this card I simply used the stamps and media plate along with the Snowflake stamps to make all the pieces.  I then used the matching mating and layering dies to make the card up adding a strip of ribbon and a large bow!

Christmas in July...

Today I am starting the sneak peaks for my new Media Plate frames and new Christmas stamps and masks.

Todays card uses the Rectangular media plate with the Oval aperture ( which is seized to match perfectly with the original oval media plate.  I have also used the new Media Plate die set which is designed to cut these out as well and provide mats and layers ( best to tune into the Hochanda shows on Wednesday night and through Thursday for a proper explanation of these)

On this sample I have used the new Masks on the frames and used the new While Shepherds stamp set for the scene in the centre.

Regal Flourish...

The final release of the new Gerbera Daisy pop out collection the Regal Flourish.  This die launched last night on Hochanda and I will be using this and the rest of the collection through today on Hochanda at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.

There regal flourish has the swirl design mirrored so that you can use this as a foliage or as a large swirl as shown on this card.



















Ive used it here with the Gerbera Pop Out Circle die and the large butterfly die set hopefully the pictures show the depth of the Deboss which swirls out over the cut pieces.

Gerbera Background Panel..

The Gerbera Pop out collection launches tonight on Hochanda at 6pm as the One Day Special  There are nlrb shows throughout tomorrow at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.

Today I am showcasing the Gerbera Panel background which is designed to be used as a background or used with the Sandwich box die to make a different box.  There will be more on the box and panel later in the week!

When used as a square background the design matches giving a filigree panel set with gerbera Daisies which will match with the rest of the collection.

More Bee Balm Shows...

I hope those of you who watched enjoyed last nights shows as much as I did!  I am back on hochanda today with more techniques using my New Bee Balm Collection.  I have shows today at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.

I am sharing a demo card today that I will be doing at some point today which shows the flowers, matching stamps and the Background all in the new Crafts Too Linen card ( I just LOVE the colours of this)

The sentiment comes with the Bee Balm flower stamp set and is sized to prerfectly fit in the aperture that cuts from the background.

Dark and Spiffing...

Today I am starting to share some Sneak Peaks from my New Media Collection of dies that launch on Hochanda on saturday Live from the Create It show in Kent.

I used all of the new dies its on this card and will be demoing the techniques I used on Saturdays show.

You may notice a New Jelly baby this one is called Spiffing Sam as he is pretty spiffing in his top hat!

























I know this is an unusual card and style for me but I have really enjoyed designing and using these dies!
