White pop out daisies...

Today I am holding workshops at Sunrise Crafts this morning and a free demo this afternoon so If you are in the area pop in and say hi!  I thought I would share a card today that got a little sneak peak earlier in the week when I shared the sandwich box made with the new Gerbera panel I designed for it.

I stared by cutting the Gerbera Pop Out Circle into white watercolour card so I got some texture on the card.  I popped out the petals of the daisies on the die cut piece and mounted this onto a circle you to mat this.

I then added Craft Artist glue arround the edge of the circle and added tickles dry glitter to this so that I got a sparkly rim.

I matted and layers the circle onto white watercolour and standard card clipping the corners on 2 edges using the Crafts Too corner and envelope punch so that they  attached the card blank.

I made the card blank using my clipped corner square edge card die and added the top piece.

The card Blank and this card were designed so that they fit within the Sandwich box die I think its important to make sure new dies I design match with those released previously!

Red Daisies...

Well what a One Day Special it really is difficult showcasing my own designs but a heartfelt thank you to everyone who loved the new ranges as much as I do!

















Todays card is another sample made using the Gerbera Pop Out collection and this time the smallest butterflies die set.

I simply matted the circle onto a square and circle cut in the Crafts Too Linen card in burgundy, I love the way combining the circle and square gives an almost wavy effect accross the card.

Regal Flourish...

The final release of the new Gerbera Daisy pop out collection the Regal Flourish.  This die launched last night on Hochanda and I will be using this and the rest of the collection through today on Hochanda at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.

There regal flourish has the swirl design mirrored so that you can use this as a foliage or as a large swirl as shown on this card.



















Ive used it here with the Gerbera Pop Out Circle die and the large butterfly die set hopefully the pictures show the depth of the Deboss which swirls out over the cut pieces.

Gerbera Background Panel..

The Gerbera Pop out collection launches tonight on Hochanda at 6pm as the One Day Special  There are nlrb shows throughout tomorrow at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm.

Today I am showcasing the Gerbera Panel background which is designed to be used as a background or used with the Sandwich box die to make a different box.  There will be more on the box and panel later in the week!

When used as a square background the design matches giving a filigree panel set with gerbera Daisies which will match with the rest of the collection.

Gerber pop out Panel...

Another new die in the Gerbera Pop Out collection, today its the Gerbera Daisy Pop Out Panel which Ive used here for a simple card but also as a panel on the Opera Box die.



















 I designed the die to make sure it matches with the panels Ive designed before as well as fitting the Opera Box die.  The Outside line is a separate die ( which makes a mat and layer for the previous panel dies)

I will be demoing these and many other techniques with this die set on the Hochanda launch shows On Wednesday and Thursday.

Gerbera Daisy New Additions...

Today I am sharing card made with a mix of my die range and featuring the a new die in the Gerbera Daisy collection.  I designed a couple of additions to the collection as I just love the flower, this time it is more daisy like and instead of cutting out the petals pop out adding dimension to a card without the need for any depth!

The final new dies in the collection will be launched on Hochanda on Wednesday evening at 6pm along with a couple of new card blank dies ( for those who missed the last ones these are 3 new shapes) and a chance to see me working with the media dies collection which launched a couple of weeks ago.

I'm just sharing the card today made with the Butterflies, the Ribbon threader die set and the New Gerbera Daisy circle die.

Floating Butterflies...

A simple butterfly card today made using the Media Plate ( Butterfly shape) a mix of Izink dye based ink pads and my Large Butterfly dies.

I used the media plate and a mask from my stash ( Imagination crafts I believe) I also stamped over this using my Dragonfly stamps.  The panel at the side is made using my small brayer and simply running it up the side of the card after smoothing the ink on the plate.  Remember there are videos on using the media plates on my You Tube chanel.

I then cut the butterflies form a piece of card I had cleaned the brayer on so that the colours match and added the plain white filigree butterflies on top.
