Celebrate in Gold and Silver...

Happy Saturday,

A few more days of Holiday Quickies as we are still away and as today is my birthday ( I tried to keep this quiet but Facebook always reveals it!) then we should hopefully be celebrating today!

I thought Today I would share a very classic John card bit in more celebration colours lol!

This look was achieved by using Scraper foil from Crafts Too in both gold and silver.  I simply cut the dies and embossed the folders and sanded back the black covering revealing the gold!

This technique is one of my Workshop ideas and I really think works with the embossing folders and especially the dies adding another technique to our Crafting Arsenal!

Red Snowflakes...

A holiday quickie but a change of dies for today just using the star stream embossing folder and some inset snowflakes ( from the Crafts Too dies I had on my last Hochanda shows)

I just used the largest snowflake in the set cut once in white and once in red but inset into the circle I love the look.  They do feel like they are popping out from the card!

Still on Holiday hopefully enjoying ourselves, there may be some Facebook updates but as Im writing this before we go I have no idea! lol

Today I have teamed the same dies again with a traditional theme of Red and green using a couple of shades of green to give more definition!

I just love the mix of red and green in this thin satin ribbon!

Christmas in White...

I am now officially on Holiday as in the early hours of this morning we flew off to greece for a while for lots of relaxation and the celebrate my Birthday!  If you missed the post on Friday for the next week or so the posts will be short as I have scheduled them all!














Todays card is made all in the gold dust iredecsent white card form Lime tree crafts.  I have used my snowflake circle embossing folder along with the Yvone Creations jingle bells die set (YCD10113 Yvonne Creations Celebrating Christmas - Jingle Bells ) along with the poinsettias.

The poinsettias are also a Find it media die this time another Yvone creations die (

Deers in the snow...

Last day of Crafting Live today and our dash to the airport so it's a Holiday Quickie today! and a twofer!

I embossed the winter trees embossing folder from my new range in yale blue lustre print card ( available shortly!) and sanded back the embossed area to show the white.

I then cut this into 2 pieces using one for the card and another for the tag.  I used a sanded piece of the rustic frame for the main card and nothing for the tag so that they match yet the card has more depth and detail!




















The Amy Deer dies form my last show shaded with south seas dye ink from Izink and finished!
