Happy Friday,
Final scene card for the week this time using the deers in black against a Northern Lights style of sky.
For the background I sprayed a piece of watercolour card with water and then sprayed on the Izink Dye sprays which have a marvellous intense colour. I then threw on rock salt which reacts with the ink removing it in places and leaving sections that look like rust stains. I really felt when finished this would make a perfect northern lights style sky.
I simply cut one of the deer scenes dies in black and placed this over tying bakers twine around the bottom and adding a poinsettia stamped in white onto Teal card and shaped.
Ingredients:
Izink dye sprays ( mix colours)
JND Deer Scenes die set
JND Poinsettia Stamps
JND Poinsettia Die

Glittering Scene...
Happy Thursday,
Another scene card today this time a lot brighter than those shared so far this week Today's card is made using the glitter foam from crafts Too which shows how different a card or die can look when you change the materials used.
I simply cut the deer scenes die from white pearl card and added this over a square of the Green Glittrer foam trimming the die cut to size.
I matted and layered this with black and red adding a wide border of embossed pearl card to make a small square card.

I cut the poinsettias in red glitter foam using gold brads to hold the layers together. I arranged these in the corner of the card over the Swirl Ivy die cut in green glitter foam. The foam makes a really nice 3D flower whilst maintaining the shape when crushed.
I finished with a sentiment cut in green card ( the die is really too intricate for the foam) in the opposing corner.
Ingredients:
Crafts Too Glitter foam Red & Green
JND Deer Scenes die set
JND Festive Sentiments Die Set
JND Poinsettia Die
JND Swirl Ivy die set
Crafts Too Merry Christmas Embossing Folder.

Snow through a window...
Happy Wednesday,
Another Scene Card sample today and I haver to admit that although one of the simplest cards I have made tis is one of my absolute favourite! I think its the colour and the simplicity that appeals to me!
I started by lightly inking the Crafts Too Snowdrops embossing folder with Sky Blue izink pigment ink pad. I then letterpresses this with a piece of white watercolour card. This gives the soft blue background whilst keeping the snow white!
Next I cut the piece using my Square and circle media plate die set ( this contains all the plain and stitched circle and square dies used for this card) I then used other dies in the set to cut an ultramarine and a silver mirror card layers for this fair mounting between each layer.
I then cut one of the scene dies from the snow scenes die set in more watercolour card and added this, with fake tape again of course, on top of the circle cut form the top layer. This was added behind the main lament to give almost a scene within a scene.
Next I added a bow of striped satin ribbon at the top of the circle and added a spray of my Swirl Ivy leaves set. I finished with a poinsettia in the centre made using the Crafts Too Glitter foaming a gem in the centre.
Ingredients:
JND Media Plate Die set Square circle
JND Snow scenes die set
JND swirl Ivy die set
JND Poinsettia Die
Craft Too snowdrops embossing folder

Stag in the Sky...
Happy Tuesday,
I thought after yesterdays white on white I would share a complete opposite today made using the same basic die but sighing a difference when using more dramatic colours.
For the background I wet a piece of watercolour card and then dropped the Izink Pigment dropper inks over this. I spritzed more water until the colours flowed then left this to dry. Once finished I thought this made such and exciting skyscape this mix of the Iris and Amethyst colours of ink along with the pearl white does look really ethereal!
I cut one of the Deer Scenes die in black and again in white and shadowed them before adding over the background.
Next I made an aperture in a piece of black card using Media Plate square circle die set to which I added acetate and foam mounted this above the background. I cut the other deer scenes die again in black and white shadowed them but added these across the bottom of the square going form edge to edge.
I finished with a few white 3mm stick on pearls and small poinsettias cut form Crafts Too white glitter foam ( the flowers left over from yesterdays card)
Ingredients:
JND poinsettia Die
JND Deer Scenes Die
JND Media Plate Die set Square
Izink pigment ink droppers Iris and Amethyst

Stags in the Snow...
Happy Monday,
I feel I should name this week scene week as all the cards I have prepared for this week seem to use my Scene Dies sorry! There again I know a lot of you have them so inspiration may be useful!!
I thought I would start with a white on white which I know if difficult to see sometimes but I just love the depth of this card.
I started by embossing a piece of white pearl card with the Craft Too Snowflake embossing folder. I then cut along the outer line of embossing at the tip and bottom and added these panels to either side of a square of Acetate.
I then added one of the Deer Scenes die cut behind this with foam tape and backed it with Crafts Too white glitter foam. It really does feel like the deer are on a true snowy background!
I made up the card with layers of white card with embossed panels to keep the texture and interest.
I cut the remaining foam ( this all comes form one A4 sheet) into 2 sets off my poinsettia die and made up the flowers with a pearl brad in the centre. I arranged these in opposing corners with bows of medium white satin ribbon.

Vintage Stag...
Happy Sunday,
I think you all know by now my love of stags ( keep an eye out as I have a new stag die in my August release as well as one for September) So this multilayer stag stamp set from Craft Too has got to be my favourite. Here I teamed it with frame made using my Deck the Halls clear stamp set and the rectangular media plate frame and matching dies.
I simply stamped the detail stamp for the stag onto Crafts Too Red linen card in gold Izink and shaded around and over the image again in gold to give a vintage look to this card.
I know the bow is large but I just couldn't resist!

Simple Stamping...
Happy Saturday,
I thought I would share a couple of the sample I made with the fabulous new Crafts Too multi layer stamps this weekend and Ive got too say whilst simple I love this card!
This is all made with the Foliage set that includes the pine branches as well as the pine cones!
I simply stamped the pine branch stamps ( there are 2 different sizes) in black and smokey grey onto Kraft card to make the backing. For the pine cone strip I stamped the background stamp using the smokey grey then added the deal over the top in black ( this is easy with the press to Impress I will be showing stamping techniques on Hochanda in september)
I added the sentiment form the Christmas Sentiment set and made up the card as shown using layers of black and red adding a random pine cone embellishment form my stash!
Enjoy...
