a simple card today that shows off the winter pack of Flower Foam from Crafts artist used here as a christmas rose on my snowflake wreath.

Flower Box ...

Happy Wednesday,

I'm actually off today so its a crafting day for me!  Im sharing another sample made for yesterdays shows.  this is a box ( From the Art of craft and part of a set of three) which has a canvas on the top great for mixed media!

For this I used Crackle Glaze over the box then added a pale green chalk paint over the top.  I shaded the box using a finger dauber and black pigment ink to add some age to the box.

For the canvas top I covered the canvas using more of the crackle  glaze and this time added a pale blue chalk paint over the top.  This time I heated the piece so that the cracks are larger I then added poinsettias made using the flower foam and my poinsettia die on top.

I'm back on Hochanda today at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm with my new Foliage dies and the wonderful Craft Artist flower foam.  Im sharing a few of the flowers made with the foam and added to the small lantern which we also have on the show if you missed it first time!

Flower Foam Show...

Happy Monday,

Tonight at 6pm on Hochanda i will be launching the new Flower Moulding foam form Craft Artist for Crafts too. There are also a couple of Brand New foliage dies I have designed to set off the flowers!

Above are the poinsettias made in the foam and opposite is the flowers again this time showing the new Elderflower and the rose leaves.






Hers the Gerbera Daisy cut in the foam and moulded with the new foliage which adds a lovely backing to the flowers.









Below theres another couple of shots of the foliage used with the poinsettias again this time in the blue from the foam.

Stormy Sky...

A simple stamped card today using the multilayer stamps from Crafts too and Izink pigment dropper inks.

I dropped izink pigment inks onto my glass mat using topaz, amethyst and silver.  I then added "picked up' the ink onto a piece of gloss card giving this cloudy look.  I then stamped the lighthouse stamp over this I added lines using the Izink black dye pens. Finally I heat embossed the image using Izink glitter clear embossing powder.

Christmas Tree Window...

I'm on Hochanda today at 3pm with the scene card die and a mix of dies from my collection that fit within it.

Today I am sharing another Christmas Friday this time made with the Christmas Tree window from the Large Lantern die set.

I simply added a piece if vellum behind the die cut and coloured the different sections, from behind, using alcohol markers.  I placed this in a panel of crackled card I made which looks like a brick wall.

A Craft Artist flower foam poinsettia in the corner and finished.

Birds in a box...

I'm at the NEC Craft show for the next few days and tomorrow I will be on Hochnada live form the show!  I will be demonstrating the scene box card as well as other dies form my collection so tune in at 3pm tomorrow to see what I'm up to.
