Happy Monday,
A little change of pace today from the folders last week, don't worry there are more samples coming with them, with a card using the bonus die from the Operas Box die set.
I started by cutting the panel die from the sandwich box die set three times into a pice of vintage gold card. I backed this with velum to soften the look and added a border made with the stitch dot dies and gloss black card.
I then cut a circular frame again using the stitch dot circle die set in the black and used a plain circle die set to cut a matching gold frame.
For the flowers I added gold leaf to a sheet of my double sided adhesive sheet and cut the bonus Gerbera die out from this 6 times. I added 2 die cuts together to make the flowers adding white micro beads in the centre of each flower.
I added tag and sentiment and set the whole piece in the middle of the card.
Enjoy...

Simple Sunday...
Happy Sunday...
I thought It was time I reintroduced the idea of simple Sunday where I post a simple card or project that can be made in minutes!
This card was made in less than 10 minutes honestly just using the round media plate and the Cubis cut and emboss folder from Crafts Too.
I simply made a background using the media plate, skeleton leaves and the Izink Pigment inks ( which I demoed on the show) There are videos on this on my you tube channel.
Next I cut a small 4 x 6 card blank using the Cubes cut and emboss folder however I used the folder after I had used it to make a letterpress background using blue Izink pigment ink ( see earlier this week) This means that I transferred a little of the colour left on the folder giving a light dusting of blue which just emphasises the pattern and mirrors the colours inside!
Simple cad quick,

Glittering Heart...
Happy Saturday,
Another card using the cut and emboss folders and this time a different shape showing the versatility of the soft embossing folders.
I stared this quite simply by cutting an oval from Rosa Lustre card using the press cut stitch dot ovals. I simply added this piece to the Corazon embossing folder and ran it through my machine. This embossed the pattern into the card whilst cutting the heart out form the centre.
I added this to a background of glittered card with layers of the Rosa and Royal Auburn lustre card.
I used the centre fall away piece along with a piece I cut in the auburn ( remember you can just add a small piece of card into the folder to get the die cut it is a die after all as well as an embossing folder! I added the two hearts along with a shaded starflower and a small bow in matching ribbon.
Quite a simple card to make but very effective especially for the younger generation I thought!

Glazed in Blue...
Happy Friday,
I thought I would share a card with an extension to yesterdays technique of letter pressing with Izink Pigment Ink.
I inked the folder using just the dark Blue Izink PIGMENT ink as in yesterdays post. I then ran the folders through the machine with a piece of card tp add the pattern, colour and cut the centre. I then added izink Clear embossing powder over the top and heat set it. As I used the slow drying Pigment ink the powder garbs to the ink meaning that when I heat embossed the piece it glazes like a ceramic tile.
I cut a smaller circle with the Press cut stitch dot circles and added the s sentiment made up with my new Anniversary clear stamp set ( this set was designed so you could make the perfect sentiment for other occasions as well as anniversaries even up to 100 years!)
To finish I added a large set of mats and layers in Yale Blue Lustre card and silver mirror card using a combination of the plain and stitch dot squares from Press Cut.
I added a couple of strips of ribbon, to balance the bow, and a large messy bow with a button embellishment form my stash

Shaded Doorway...
Happy Thursday,
I thought I would share this card today as I demoed this technique on the shows earlier this week.
If you missed the show then I thought I should explain this technique as its great with any embossing folder but really works with the cut and emboss style.
I used three colours of PIGMENT ink ( its really important to use a slow drying ink as opposed to standard dye based ink. I tapped the ink, like inking a stamp, on the flat side of the folder using the darkest blue at the top, a mid blue in the middle and a light green at the base. Once the folder was covered I embossed a piece of 300gsm card which transfers the colours to the card whilst embossing the design and cutting the doorway out of the centre.
I added some starflowers cut form card I had coloured using the Izink liquid inks and my large media plate. This gives this really dreamy quality to the flowers perfect I thought for using with fairy stamps?!?
I finished the card really simply with the idea of adding a sentiment once I decide who Im sending it to. I think the colours on this require a very simple set of layers and a smaller card let your work shine!

Threefold birthday...
Happy Wednesday,
Another sample form this weeks shows today this time using the Floribunda cut and emboss folder.
I cut three pieces of lustre card to 41/4" x 53/4" then cut and embossed them using the folder. I then backed each piece with a larger mat of dark blue card.
For the centre panel I used the deboss side of the piece so that I got a different look form the other panels. The great thing about these folders is that the front and back look as clean cut on both sides!
I decorated the centre panel using the bonus Gerbera daisy die in the Opera Box dies set along with the starflower leaves. I added this to a messy bow with some pearl strings from my stash. I stamped the sentiment, from my new Anniversary clear stamp set in white Izink pigment ink and cut this with my mini tags die set.
I added the three panels to a folded piece of card that makes the fold as shown. There is a video on making the three fold card over on my youtube channel as I didi something similar a while ago!

Day 2...
Happy Tuesday,
I hope those who managed to tune in yesterday to the launch show enjoyed the show as much I I did! Today I am sharing another samples form the shows as I am back today at 9am, 1pm, and final call at 5pm. Don't forget to can watch the shows, either live or on catch up, at www.hochanda.com on any computer, device or tablet.
A lighter card today this time made very simply using the Passiflora cut and emboss folder ad my starflower and matching leaf dies.
I simply embossed a square of white card using the folder by allowing the card to overhang each side. SAS these are soft folders the lines on each side don't emboss into the card, even when cutting, so you can extend the design easily.
I shaded over the pattern using the Izink Circe ( Wax) colour dye based ink shading around the oval aperture as well. I then added a spray of flowers with the starflower leaves cut form honeydew lustre print card and the flowers cut from primrose card. I shaped the flowers with the same Izink ink when made up and added a stick on pearl in the centre before arranging these around the floral border on the folder.
I added the sentiment using my new Alphabet clear stamp set ( Thanx Steph for the idea) which has the individual months allowing me to make the sentiment on your February Birthday really easily great for when you are selling your cards.
I added layers of the white and primrose to balance the card.
