Happy Thursday,
I've been playing again this time with the new dies and flower foam from Leane Creatief and I love the effect I get with this.
In this card I used the flowers to accent a panel made with my media plates, the Izink pigment inks and a peacock father. I have had this piece made for quite a while but needed something to accent it and the flowers were perfect.
To make the flowers I used the LeCrea Easy Flower die no 45.4551 ( thats all the name I could find) and cut the flowers ( 3 sizes) out of the white flower foam form the same company. I shaded the petals on both sides using the finger Daubers and light purple pigment ink from Izink. Once shaded I heated the flowers using my heat gun, the longer you heat the foam the more the petals curl up. I added stamen in the centre and added the flowers until I had three separate blooms. I then shaded the matching leaves from the set and added these (shaded in light blue to match the ribbon) I then simply arranged these onto a bow.
I farmes the piece using the Press Cut Notched Rectangle dies in blue and white lustre card.

Red Hearts...
Happy Wednesday and Valentines day!
I saved this card form the shows a couple of weeks ago especially for Valentines day I love the simplicity of this card!
I stared by embossing the two birds embossing folder from Crafts Too in white gold lustre print card.
I cut a set of frames using the Press Cut Stitch Dot hearts set in black and red.
I added this to a black frame studded with pearls. I added a couple of hearts cut form card coloured with the Izink spray dyes.
Whatever your valentines day brings I hope its all you want.

Foil Tuesday...
I hope everyone enjoyed yesterdays shows as much as I did It was great to be able to just play with some of my favourite products and share ideas and things I love. The next show will be the launch of my first full die collection more details next week and maybe a few sneak peaks!
Today I am sharing a card i made using the PCD01 die from yesterdays shows and a piece I made using my GoPress hot foiling machine. I used the stunning Rose Hot Foil stamp designed by Anna Griffin ( Im always in awe of her flower designs) and folded this onto black card with a silver shimmer foil. I cut this out using the Press Cut Notched Rectangles dies and added s strip of ribbon around the bottom, I really felt that the image was strong enough not to need any embellishment.

Foiled and Flowered...
Happy Monday,
Today I have shows on Hochanda today at 10am, 3pm and 7pm with a wonderful mix of Press Cut Dies, some of my dies ( the new mini starflowers and the return of the starflowers themselves) and izink inks etc. Today I thought I would share 2 cards I made for the shows using a mix of products form them as well as a sneaky bit of foiling as I really am loving playing with my GoPress hot foiling machine!
I decided to focus on the pink version and will detail the blue card later ion the week if I have space!

The main feature of this card that I love is the trellis and small flowers at the back. I cut the panel die form my sandwich Box die set twice into a piece of rosa lustre card. I then cut the new Mini Starflower die twice which gave me 12 of the little flowers which I have to admit I love. I simply added these instead of my usual pearls at the junction of the filigree adding a stick on crystal in the centre.
I framed the background using the Press Cut notched rectangles using them to make a multilayer frames with Rosa and Ice Silver lustre card.
I added the large bow and the tag which I hot foiled the sentiment on!

Easy in Blue...
Happy Sunday,
Another sample for tomorrows shows at 10am, 3pm and 7pm this time using the Press Cut PCD01B card fold die and the new Nellie Snellen layering stamp. I will be demoing all of these products over the course of tomorrow so tune in to the shows to see how this works it really is very easy and lots so much more complex than it is!

The stamps are so easy to use as there are 4 which layer up to show the coloured image as opposite no colouring or skill required!
One of the great things of working with Crafts Too is that I get to see and use products form companies all around the world and can buy and use what I like the look of!

Squares and More...
Happy Saturday,
I am in Crafty Corner in South Sheilds today pop along and say if you are around between 10am and 4pm!
Today's card is another couple of samples for the shows on Monday this time showcasing the Notched rectangles and squares. I have found these seriously versatile making mats, layers and frames easily I love framing cards as Im sure you know!
I love the fact that you can make beautiful cards just from nesting dies and that not everything needs filigree or fancy!

New Starflowers...
Happy Friday,
I thought I would share a sample I have made for the shows on Hochanda on Monday at 10am, 3pm and 7pm with a couple of new products and some not seen before. The New product is a little selfish as I love my Starflower dies and the smallest of these is one of my faves of the set. I decided when we needed to order more of the flowers and leaves to make a new die which cuts six of the smallest flowers in one pass and that will launch, along with more stack iff the classic starflower and leaves, on the show on Monday.
The not seen before are a range of brilliant dies from Press Cut one of which I have been looking for for a long time but no company I could find had made one. I always wanted a set of nesting dies with a notched inward corner. Well just launched form press cut are the notched squares and rectangles, the rectangles I have used here come form the set of 16 that come together in the set enough even for my matting and layering!
Finally I used one of the dies form the set of A4 Book Dies which give you the look of an open book perfect for all sorts of cards! In this card the book looks as if it is shaped from the centre but it isn't its simply the cut of the die and the shading!

I will be demoing the techniques used to make this card on Mondays shows as well as loads of other ideas so tune in to see how it was done!
