Waste Foil...

Happy Wednesday,
I thought I would share this card today based on yesterdays.  As Im sure al my blog family know well by now I hate waste and tray to use it every chance I get. Well todays card is made with the waste pieces from yesterdays!

I I foiled the hot foil stamp using the pale blue foil onto white.  I cut this out by hand for the main piece.  For the background I added the waste foil form the front panel to a piece of card and foiled it using the go press and a few card shims ( to raise the hight to the level needed)  I ran this through my Platinum to seal the piece.

For the sentiment I used the waste piece form yesterdays card and repeated the process foiling this onto plain card.  I cut this with the stitch Dot Ovals from Press cut and made up the card as shown.

Foil Tuesday...

Happy Tuesday,

I spent yesterday Helping out sending orders out for the last shows on Hochanda it was so much fun! so If you received your order today or tomorrow and its wrong its all my fault!!

Back to today and I thought I would continue with the samples made using my new GoPress foiling machine I simply love playing with this ( i will be doing my first demo day with this equipment on Saturday at Crafty Corner in South Shields Pop along and take a look between 10am and 4pm)

I know when people mention Foiling to me I always think of gold silver etc however I revised a pack of foil in my machine box in beautiful Pearl colours so of course the first I used was the soft blue.

I simply foiled the large design and the sentiment and made up the card arround this using my usual set of layers, embossing and ribbon!

The thing I really love about how the GoPress works is that not only does it fold the image it embossing this in giving a real quality feel!

Red Hearts...

Happy Monday,

I simply love the combination of Red, Black and white and mixing this with the dies from Last Weeks Hochanda shows a really strong and yet romantic card emerges.

I stared by cutting the large frame in black and simply mounting this on a large 8x8" card base.  I added squares of red and black with a small trim of crystals to add a bit more glamour.

I cut a frame using the stitch dot heart dies in black using the centre of that heart on a larger white heart for the back.  I cut a red heart and added the black frame on top as shown.  I then cut the gorgeous heart swirl die that came with the heart die in red and black adding one to each heart.

Metal Garden...

Happy Sunday,

A really simple card today with the letterpress technique.  For this card I used the Metal mini Pigment inks from Izink and just left the piece to dry.

I thought this needed a really simple treatment just a mat, layer and a small base card, simple.

Love Birds...

Happy Saturday,

More show samples and this time using the Mini Pigment ink pads from Izink and the Crafts Too Embossing folders.

I simply love the technique of adding Pigment ink to an embossing folder and letter pressing it.  I used a section of inks for each of these examples and added clear sparkle embossing powder ( A new product form Izink that we are hoping to import soon!)  Once heat set it glazes the piece with a sparkle glaze.

To make up these cards I used some of the hearts left over form yesterdays project cut form the Dye Spray pieces of card arranged to showcase the patterns!

Multicoloured Hearts...

Happy Friday,

Here's another sample form yesterdays shows again using the inks I made a gift and a matching card especially in time for Valentines day!

I simply cut 2 different sizes of hearts from the Press Cut stitch Dot heart dies from Press Cut.

For the frame I simply foam mounted the hearts in series on a piece of 7"x7" card.  I stamped the Love You sentiment on the heart on the bottom left heart.

For the card I made a small 5" x5" card blank matting with white and black with the smallest hearts in the set.  I stamped the Valentines sentiment in the bottom right.

A matching set a perfect hand made, and easy, gift set!

Easy Inky...

Happy Thursday,

Im back on Hochanda today with some fabulous new products form Izink and Press cut If you caught the facebook live form Frankfurt earlier this week you will have seen a sneak peak of the new Inks and Pigment pads.

I thought I would share this selection of cards today as I don't do a lot of inky stuff but the colours are so intense on the Dye Sprays and so easy to use I couldn't resist!

I simply wet the paper and spray the intense dyes over the top so easy...

The backgrounds are all made using the Ocean set of sprays with no need for messy techniques.

Catch the Hochanda shows today at 8am and again at 12pm.

Enjoy...
