Lattice sunflowers 2...

Happy Friday,

I'm back on Hochanda today at 9am, 1pm and final call at 5pm with the lattice collection.  Todays card uses the collection and makes a lattice version of the sunflowers I used on yesterdays post.


















Here I sued the lattice over the top and the waste from yesterdays card for the background.

It's the launch day for my mini collection the Lattice collection which will be available from tonight at 6pm tune in to Hochanda to see the samples and the collection.

I thought I would share a sample today that just uses the solid flowers without the lattice section which, to me at least, looks like a sunflower!















I simply cut the solid flowers in yellow linen card simply shaded around the edges with wax colour dye ink from izink.

I love the mix of the yellow and the brown really has a warm summer feel!

Pink Lattice...

Another sample using the lattice collection this time focusing on the Anstey die which is the one used in the centre.

I have used the Press cut notched squares with this card as the die is designed to work with my favourite nesting dies.

I use the lattice flowers cut in pink and white and mixed together to give a two tone flower as shown.

This collection launches on Hochanda at 6pm tomorrow night tune in to see the samples ( I've got some fabulous ones form my amazing angels!)

Ive got so excited about this collection I thought I would add a couple more blog posts with samples of the lattice!  This range launches as a mini collection ( only 4 die sets so hopefully within budget!) on Thursday night at 6pm on Hochanda.

here I sued the flowers offset rather than on top of each other showing a different way these can be used, honestly these are truly versatile flowers.

Welcome to the Lattice Collection...

This Thursday I will be launching my new Mini collection the Lattice collection which has a background, corners and flowers and leaves hopefully you will agree a really versatile set!


For this. are I have used all of the sets to make the card in Crafts Too Lustre pink card and a couple of shades of grey!










Ive used the corners which are very versatile you can make backgrounds and edges.

Back in Business...

I have finally found some time to start blogging again, I'm really sorry I've left it so long its just been so busy with the John Next Door brand - drawing, designing making samples etc!  Im now hopefully caught up with plans for this year which should free some time to be a bit more active on the blog and facebook!

I thought I would kick off with a card made using a real mix of my dies which should hopefully show what I have been trying to achieve.  The main idea of the John Next Door die range is that they are all designed to work together in different formats to give lots of versatile options.

For this card I mixed the Oakham and stamford die sets using just the Oakham for the outside and all the other players using the Stamford.  Hopefully this makes obvious how the points of the lattice on the Oakham meets the points on the Stamford, it's almost as if it was designed by the same person.















The flowers and leaves on this card are a little sneak peak of the June release so you will have to wait until Monday to see more of these and the Lattice mini collection.
