Clean And Simple (CAS)

Today´s card is a nice (in my opinion) Clean and Simple (I think thats the term!) card.  Plain scolloped edge card with an aperature cut to match the Spellbinders Antique fame and accents die cut.

The die cut was cut with Coredinations card, inked in the die then sanded.  The middle part was adhered to the inside back of the card and stamped withan Anna Griffin Floral stamp.  I love the detail oif these stamps but rarely find the right project to use them on!

Flowera are from papermania, sentiment stamped with Archival balck Ink ( a new find, it gives a lovely sharp image) with a random stampo i found in a drawer.

I have been asked to mkake more of trhis design for a friend to use as sympathy cards

Enjoy...

One for Suzy...

This is becoming a habit, hoinestly not every card or post will be for someone lol  My Neighbour Suzie is havinbg a birthday sometime this month, As she has gone to the U.K. for a holiday I can give the card to her husband and (hopefully) no damage done.  I was planning to give her a purpler and black card I had made but I didn´t like iot, also Suzy has very Shabby Chic taste.

The background is embossed with the Spellbinders Extenable pattern die, distressed and stitched onto the base card.  The focal element is a Marianne die borrowed from
Wendy Nxet Door.  Finished with random stamping, distressing and flowers from Papermania.

The bird is a spellbinders die, with a bow and hatpins made from bits found in one of my many stash box´s.

Hopefully Suzy will like it as I want to copy this for mothers day.

One for Hazel...

Hazel is a friend I work with, she has an addiction to Birds so her cards always have to have birds on them, although its not her birthday as soon as I made this card I thought of her....

Altough thgere is no bird on the card Hazel  nevber likes to see a cage as well as a bird so as this one had flown away i thought she´d like it.

Recipe
Spellbinders Ribbon Threader
Tim Holtz Cage die
Spellbinders Cherry Blossom Die (Branch & Flowers)
Ribbon, Denim Backing Paper all from stash!

Opposite is a close up .

I work with hazel 2 days a week and I have to admit they are the funniest days of the week.  Due to something behind the cash desk making holes in her tops (after 2 years we still can´t work out what) she now wears an apron to work leading to the nickname the dinnerlady!

For my birthday she made me her first handmade card ever which was a picture of her, she used on the front of it, in her Sexy Dinner Lady apron (strictly X rated).  The next picture should have a Parental Advisory Warning, Enjoy!

One for Christina...

Mornin'  Wendy, who seems to feature on here more than I do, told me about a fab website called Card Making Magic where Christine shows demo's of really nice techniques.  On her I found her flower tutorial, as I'd been wondering what to do with my Tim Holtz Flower diethis was indeed magic.  Below is a gift / card I created to showcase my first attempt, hence to say thank you to Christine for the tutorial, and her flower strewn blog, which has become part of my daily checked list...

One for Wendy...

Hello,

as its the first of March thought I had at least make an attempt at blogging every day!  this card was a commission for a friend in my drama group who wanted a 50th (Golden) wedding anniversary card for some friends.  Wendy next door her blog is here helped me with placing of the gold glitter heart die cut and liked the end result, insisting I put it on my blog so here goes...

Golden Wedding Card
Recepie:

Spellbinders labels 8
Marianne Heart bird Die
Marianne Bird on Branch Die
Spellbinders Cherry Blossom Die (for flowers)
Gold Ribbon, Glitter Card, Velum all from stash (which grows ever larger!)

Below is a close up of the Heart, I love the look of this on Glitter card as I find it a little flat on normal card.
This card was so thick I had to make a special envelope for it, once again Wendy came to the rescue with her envelope box maker from a blog win on Christina's blog. I die cut window with the same labels and finished with a gold bow hope you like it.  Tomorrow one for Christina...
One of the box, Thanx for the lend wendy!
