My Boss asked me for a Crad for the 16th birthday of a friends son. He's into computers and is well known for breaking things so a broken computer card was born....
Its an easel card and the screen stands up, to get the parts for the front I used an old mobile phone lol!

Happy New(ish) Year
This card was made for my mum to send to my partners family In England as we missed the last post here for Christmas. It was supposed to go on on new years day but I haven't quite worked out the schedule thing yet lol.

Something Lighter...
This is a wreath designed to hang on the wall and detract from the bareness caused by the removal of the Christmas decorations. Close up and hanging below.

A Litte Dark...
My news years resolutions were to blog everyday and not buy any new craft stuff, oh well both broken by the sixth! I will however keep trying.
Today's effort is a picture frame, a few months ago I was lucky enough to glean some broken frames from the bin at work. One I gave to Wendy next door, we both altered one but I wasn't happy with mine so with some time off I decided to have another go. As you can see this one is a little dark but I had fun playing with embossing powders, my big shot and a lot of glue and paint, you can see Wendy much prettier version here. I've included some close ups below, all the die cuts are with Tim Holtz Sizzix dies and embossing folders. Enjoy!

The cracker is made with A1 sheets of mirror card, and covered in Do'crafts Christmas paper and stamping. The centre has the extendable pattern die cut in mirri card. Tied with red satin and organza ribbon and more of Wendy's beaded hat pins. More detail in the next picture, enjoy, leave a comment if you want the recipes, pix of fudge tomorrow!

I Love Cheese!
I've kinda set a rod for my own back in that Last Christmas I Made all my presents for friends, hopefully more about that as it gets closer to the big day. This has meant however that all my friend expected homemade gifts for birthdays. So far I've struggled a bit but certainly did for my boss especially as I work in a card and gift shop so she has seen everything! As I love Cheese and so does she I decided on Cheese scones and a box to put them in... As I forget everything thought I aught to put the recipe down.

50g Mature Cheddar
