Stag in the Sky...

Happy Tuesday,

I thought after yesterdays white on white I would share a complete opposite today made using the same basic die but sighing a difference when using more dramatic colours.

For the background I wet a piece of watercolour card and then dropped the Izink Pigment dropper inks over this.  I spritzed more water until the colours flowed then left this to dry.  Once finished I thought this made such and exciting skyscape this  mix of the Iris and Amethyst colours of ink along with the pearl white does look really ethereal!

I cut one of the Deer Scenes die in black and again in white and shadowed them before adding over the background.

Next I made an aperture in a piece of black card using Media Plate square circle die set to which I added acetate and foam mounted this above the background.  I cut the other deer scenes die again in black and white shadowed them but added these across the bottom of the square going form edge to edge.

I finished with a few white 3mm stick on pearls and small poinsettias cut form Crafts Too white glitter foam ( the flowers left over from yesterdays card)

Ingredients:
JND poinsettia Die
JND Deer Scenes Die
JND Media Plate Die set Square
Izink pigment ink droppers Iris and Amethyst

Enjoy...

  7. Hi John. Love the atmosphere you have created on this card. I think the use of black card really adds to the drama although I am sure a lot of people would disagree with me. Thanks for the inspiration.

  13. A brilliant card design. What a fantastic background with the pigment inks. Loving those colors together. The black deer cuts highlighted with white are so effective. Ethereal is definitely the feeling I get, too, from this piece of art.
