Deer baubles...

Happy Sunday,

I shaded this project as one of the Sneak Peaks but I thought it deserved its own day on the blog!

This is simple (ish) to make its just a case of making ups the baubles.
I stared by cutting the outer die in my Time Flies dies et which was designed to be a pocket watch but also a Christmas Bauble ( I love making sure you can do more than one thing with a die)  I then added acute to the front and ran from tape all arround the the circle on the back.  Next I cut the 2 dies in the Deer Scenes die set and added one to each bauble over the farm tape.  I then added a little clear glitter and another layer of foam tape( so that the deer die cut was sealed in following this with another layer of acetate.
This makes a bauble that is independent of the card backing, you could make them swing iff you want.

Finally i added the Ball Chain die cut in silver and wrapped the end arround the bezel of the bauble.  I arranged these on an embossed backing just adhering them at the top and having them overlap.

Finally  I added a small poinsettia cut in vellum with a diamond in the centre of each and a few gems on the backing!

Ingredients:
JND Time Flies die set
JND Deer Scenes Die set
JND Chains Die set
JND Poinsettia die
Crafts Too A4 snowflake embossing folder

Enjoy...

A beautiful card, great idea and the recipient could hang the baubles on their tree if not glued down.

  14. Dear John
Love seeing different ways to use the scene dies (mine came yesterday, along with the box die (love it) - can you suggest a good paper/card weight for the boxes please, mine seemed a bit flimsy - but they were just try-outs).
    Thank you
