Waste not your Poinsettias...

Happy Sunday,

A simple card today made almost totally form waste pieces.  I kept all the waste from making my media plate frames and used them here, with the poinsettia die and matching stamps set, to make the card.

The background is a piece i cleaned my brayer on, the centre a piece cut form making an oval frame and the poinsettia stamped and cut form another brayer cleaned piece.

The simple addition of the swirl ivy cut in silver mirror card and a couple of hatpins and finished.

I have to say this is one of my favourite cards and colour schemes and all by accident!

Enjoy...

  16. Hello John,
This is a gorgeous card today, I love the "sweep" of blue on the background card which I know is purely accidental. Wish my "waste" could be turned into something like this. Have a good day.

  17. What a happy accident. My 'waste' is not nearly so inspiring. You are truly a good environmentalist. Love the new packaging.
    Have fun today, John,

  19. Lovely card, not played with the media plates yet. I was wondering the best way to store the plates after use. Thanks Helen

A stupendous card John. I'm now sure that you could make at least 50 cards from the contents of my waste bin. I may try later.(not to make 50 lol).
    Have a great day everyone.
