Gold Kings...

Happy Saturday,

A simple scene card today made with the media plate frames die set and the Holly Quilt mask sometime we ned a quick and Blingy Christmas card.

I started by spreading izink Diamonds through the mask onto Christmas Red Linen card from Crafts Too The Diamonds work better than anything else I have tried with masks and stencils as the thin formulation shows all the details of the pattern.  Once dry ( which takes about 20 minutes) I cut the piece using the largest square and the largest circle in the die set ( the stitched edge dies)

I used the other dies in the set to mount this onto black then gold mirror card.

For the centre panel I stamped the three kings from the Festive Silhouettes clear stamp set onto black card.  I then masked off the stamped images with a piece of torn card and shaded down using a finger dauber and more of the Izink Gold pigment ink.

I stamped the small stars stamp, from the snowflakes clear stamp set, in white izink pigment in using first and second generation stamping.  Finally adding a gold star for the kings to follow!

A few layers of red, black and gold to finish a small card with a,ot of glitz!

Ingredients:
JND Media Plate die set Squares
JND Festive Silhouettes stamp set
JND Snowflakes stamp set
Izink Diamonds Gold
Izink PIgment ink pad Gold

Enjoy...

  1. Morning John, this has got to be one of the best samples I have seen using the 3 kings in the distance with the beautiful red and gold holly frame, yes John I like this very, very much.

Enjoy yourself at Doncaster this weekend, and if you see anyone that knows me then say hello (I think Theresa Goodwin might be there)

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
