Yellow flowers...

Happy Saturday,

As I have an unexpected Saturday off I am attending a workshop today rather than running one, Im really looking forward ti making an MDF Steam Punk grandfather clock with All Reeve!  Ill share some pictures of the day on facebook!

back to today and a simple card made with the gerebera daisy die and flower foam.

I cut the die three times form a piece of white flower foam.  I then shaded each flower using light yellow izink pigment ink pad.

I heated each flower to make them curl and threaded yellow stamens through the centre.

Enjoy...

  17. Hi John. Lovely colour choice for such a sunny spring day. I love the background but I don't recognise it. It's not a sneaky peek at something coming up is it?

  20. Hello John,
A lovely card and the flowers look really beautiful! A friend of mine has given up on flower foam as it drove her mad and burned her fingers!! Well the hot glue did! She gave it to me - I haven’t tried it as yet!
Have a great day it sounds a lot of fun!

  25. I love the way you shaped the daisies on this card. I don't know what flower foam is however. I also wondered about the background...a new stencil? You have achieved a beautiful card and the colors are quite pleasing.
