Patterned Flowers...

Happy Friday,

Just a few more samples with the Gerbera Daisy collection Its just that I made so many I can't wait to start showing you what I have next there are some really nice new things coming in the next couple of weeks and months!  I will start to mix it up next week I promise.

Back to Today and hopefully something a little different today with patterned paper and foam flowers

I cut the Gerbera circle in maya blue lustre card and mounted it onto a white circle using 3D glue dots for dimension.  I added a different sized stick on pearl in the centre of each flower then mounted this onto a mat, cut with the press cut stitch dot circles.

I cut the flowers using glitter foam from crafts Too and punched a hole in the centre grouping them with a brad from my stash.

I cut the matching leaves in the blue and glitter foam and arranged these on the side of the circle with a messy bow in white.

I made up the card as shown using patterned paper from my stash ( Craft Consortium 12 x 12 paper pad) adding layers of blue and white.

  1. Morning John, a very pretty floral creation, the blue and white is lovely with the pop of patterned paper. Have a great day everyone. Bx

  2. Morning John, a beautiful card as always really like the colours on thus one.

  4. Morning John,
    Pretty card.

  5. Morning John, brilliant, love it, I managed to get some of the 3d glue dots when you had them on Hochanda last time, they are so good and ideal for raising the flowers, I also like the consortium papers, again I got these when you mentioned them a while ago, they are excellent quality and well worth purchasing.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  6. Good morning John like the "topper you have made for your card and nice to have some patterned papers to compliment it. Love from Jackie xx

  8. Hi John
Great card today, the patterned paper works really well with this doesn't it. The flowers cut in foam are lovely too, a different way to use your Dies.

  11. Very pretty card, I love your patterned background.
Not sure about foam flowers, think they would make the card too bulky but they are lovely none the less.

  12. Hi John this is a stunning card those papers work so well with the dies. I can't wait to see what is coming next. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  13. Hello John,
Another beauty from you today but I'm looking forward to next week's surprises. I hope to be able to comment but I'm away with crafting friends for a few days and rely on one of them to "plug" me in. As a young friend of mine said "Oh, 'It's Grannies on Tour' again" I think that has a nice ring to it, don't you? ha ha.
    love Maureen xx

  14. Hi John. What a really stunning card today. I got some flower foam at Ally Pally last weekend, but haven't had a chance to have a play yet.

  15. Very pretty again.

  16. Hello John,
I’m late again and almost falling asleep! It’s bern a busy week and I don’t know how I’d have coped without your Gerbera Dies! I cut over a hundred and fifty of them! You are a life saver!
Thanks for today’s lovely card too! I’m looking forward to what you have in store for us too! I’m one of the Grannies on Tour! Charming!
    Love Myra xx

So beautiful John, I really love it as I do with most of your cards.
Yesterday I was taken out to Preston to spend my Birthday vouchers and I intended to buy the complete Gerbera collection. What a disappointment to find that they were sold out except for the circles and leaves (which I bought of course) and they didn't have many of these either. We then went to the other big craft store in Preston and I'm sure that some of your commentors will gasp at this. I asked to be taken to the John next door aisle and the clerk said " John Next Door? Never heard of him.) You should pop into that store John and say something like "I'm HIM"
    Love, Marie P.

  18. I like the pop of patterned paper on this card. I am always trying to use up my stash of it so ideas welcome. I have never seen glittered foam but I guess I could try making it? Spray glue and shake it on? May give it a go as I like the daisies.
I am in the states but we have some large "hobby stores" and they never have any of the good stuff in papercrafting hence I order nearly everything I use. Marie, hope you find a source for John's amazing dies.

  19. Eh up John
    I'm back again.
Not one of my favourites, I must confess, but love the flowers.
