Same but different...

Happy Wednesday,

Final day in Diss I hope the ladies that attended yesterday enjoyed it as much as I did!

I thought I would share a card made in the same method as yesterday however I changed the colour and made a square card as this shows.  This piece I made on air on the Hochanda shows a couple of weeks ago and you know me I hate waste so it had to be made up into a card once home!

This time I used geranium and green izink dropper inks on the watercolour card foam mounting the background to add depth.

I cut the with love tag in deep rose Lustre print card and white using the correct sentiment this time.  The flower was again made on air stamping the flowers onto more of the deep rose lustre card.

The Gerbera Leaves were cut in white card using the letterpress technique with perfect medium.  I covered them with the Izink Cactus glitter embossing powder and heat set them they really shine in real life!

I  ade up the card as shown and to me at least it looks so different form yesterdays card yet it uses exactly the same dies and techniques!

  1. Hi John
I am loving all your cards made with your new dies.Enjoy your day in Diss.

  2. Morning John, another beautiful card and you wouldn't believe it was the same dies they look so different.
    Nancyd xx

  3. Hi John.
Thank you a very pretty card.
Take care and have fun Kitty.

  4. Morning John, I bet you thought I had forgotten you, never, I returned late last night from a parching retreat in Tunbridge Wells, oh had such a wonderful time, learnt so much and made so many new friends. I will go onto the blog again later and see what I have missed over the past few days. Unfortunately the signal at the venue was not good for my phone and there was so much going on, did you miss me ha ha xx

This creation today is wonderful, I was singing your praises at the retreat, you will have some new converts there too. Love the colouring, well you know I like everything you do, we are making a creation at my craft group today using your dies, hopefully I will get a chance to do something (always so busy for me with the organising and catch up every week) but if I don't get a chance this morning I will be making over the next few days - I am getting withdrawal symptoms, ha ha.

Anyway have a great time at Diss, see you at Detling.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

    Hello John,
I have loved all of your Gerbera cards and just as I was about to give in and order it DISASTER STRUCK. My beautiful Gemimi cutter has Jammed!!! The lights come on but not a sound from the machine. As I am housebound I don't know what to do. No doubt I will be suffering withdrawal symptoms by this time tomorrow, If anyone can advise me, please pm me on Facebook

    1. Marie - this happened to me! I googled for help! It was suggested hold down both the Start and Pause Buttons for 15 seconds! I did that and the machine worked again! Hope it helps you. Love Myra .
      Hope this is ok John!
