Happy Wednesday,
Weather Permitting its the monthly workshop at Crafty Corner In Breedon today. This is the closest workshop to me and i calls it as my home workshop as we have loads of fun and its quite informal!
Back to today and I'm sharing card made using one of the background dies from the Gerbera Daisy collection as I was asked yesterday to share a card maned with them. I used the square gerbera background to make this using it twice too make a larger card form a smaller die.

I stared by cutting the largest outline die in the set twice into a piece of lustre card . I then added a layer behind this using the next die in the set which has a double stitched detail to it. Finally I added the detail die cut behind this on each panel using foam cushion for each layer to add inward depth.

I had already cut the long die form the ribbon threader set down the right hand side of the card reinserting the die to extend the pattern. I threaded the stitch edge ribbon threaded through this with a messy bow in the centre and an embellishment form my stash.
Enjoy...
Morning John, from a very white Scotland, this card is a WOW I absolutely love it and the ribbon threader is my favourite die.

Hi John,
ReplyDeletewhat a stunning card and such a very super gorgeous design too.
Love that ribbon used in the ribbon threaded die cut.
Oh Ang is so clever to think of that as a Die.
Black white is so elegant I think and always reminds me of the Art Deco period as that too was and elegant period.
Lots of crafty regards. Jenny L.
