Simple Gerbera...

Happy Sunday,

Yesterday was ,my last official demo and work day before christmas so today will be spent relaxing and catching up with some of the sleep I have missed since I launched the John Next Door brand in July!

Therefore I am sharing another simple card today just made with the bonus Gerbera daisy die in the opera box set.

I simply cut the daisy three times down a strip of lilac card ( From Limetree crafts) I then embossed the die three times into a piece of the gold lustre card and placed one of the embossed flower images behind each aperture and added a pearl in the centre.

A couple of mats and layers and card finished ( I used the actual cut outs on another project!)

I hope you doing think todays post has been 'Phoned in' lol

Enjoy...

  8. Morning John, oh I do like this one, going to try it myself, so clever but looks so effective, great for batch cards too.

I should think you are absolutely knackered after the past 6 months, you have not stopped and John next door has done so well, yes I know it is a lot of hard work in the background - we only see the finished samples not all the preparation for all the shows and demo's you do around the country. you deserve a few days to yourself, but wait, I hear that you are on Hochanda on Boxing day, well that is good for me because hubby will be glued to the TV watching sport so I know what I will be doing that day.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  9. Good morning John,
Wow! Oh! Wow! I love today's card. Looking at it reminds me of all the similar "bits" I have thrown away in the past. I always "think" now thanks to you.
Knowing you these few days will not be that restful. Try hard to chill out, you have had such a busy six months. I am sure it will not get much slower in 2018 so please RELAX and enjoy your few days.
