Happy Wednesday,
Another sample from my shows starting Friday and continuing on Saturday open Hochanda. This is made using the exact same die sets as yesterdays card. I know that doesnt seem possible as that was a shuttered window and this is a classic door but thats the versatility of this die set. I have titled this post Knock on the door as there is a surprise if you open the door on this card!
I stared by cutting the whole window / door die in ruby foundation card twice. The second die cut I cut the door panel and the arched window die. I then embossed the panel die into the red piece that falls out and then reattached it in the opening to make a door.
This means that when you open the door you have the message, and the cat, visible. I stamped the sentiment from the Sue Wilson clear stamp set I have on the show. I cut that cat which comes in the set in black card and added this at the bottom.
For the reminder of the card I embossed a piece of coconut white foundation card and added a panel of grey at the bottom to represent the pavement. I then cut the topiary tree die twice ( i chose the rounded one as there are 2 in the set) and added a gloss black pot. Finally I added the spring Foliage die along with the small flowers cut in primrose.
A different card style but I love the kinetic element with the door opening!
Enjoy...

Very nice and to think it's the same die set as yesterday's

Eh up John
ReplyDeleteGreat New Home card. Was trying to work out what was on the back of the door. If its where the cat was scratching to get out, the next set needs a door with a cat flap lol!
Good luck for tonight.
