I'm back on Hochanda tonight for the Launch of the One Day Special featuring dies by Sue Wilson and range alcohol inks and Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Polish. It's a bot of a Favourites show as I have put together a selection of items that are either last years Favourites or New favourites!
I thought I would share a coupe of the samples for tonights shows this first picture is made with Yupo Paper and Alcohol inks and it honestly takes no artistic skills.
The next project Is again made using the Yupo Paper and ranger inks I think I had a bit of a poppy thing
when making these projects as this features poppy like flowers as well.
Enjoy...
Morning John, two fantastic cards I have alcohol inks from years ago and have never got to grips with them so looking forward to your shows to get some inspiration.

Love all these cards and using the alcohol inks. Usually use them on acetate. Looking forward to the shows and seeing the Yupo paper. Looks interesting. Thank you for sharing and your great shows.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Love the vibrant colours
ReplyDeleteI like it when you get "artsy". Your up-coming shows on Hochanda look like they are going to be my kind of show. I have my Yupo Paper and some alcohol inks, but need some guidance. Guess what, you are going to be my guide and teacher. Looking forward to learning new techniques using a new media for me. I am wishing you well.
ReplyDeleteEh up John
ReplyDeleteIn the excitement, I looked earlier but forgot to comment, doh!
Stunning effects and the first one reminds me of an Andy Warhol print.
Yupo? Is that on the advert with The Village People? 😆

Really loving the shows John and have spent way too much money (again!). A quick question - can I stamp on top of the gloss/Yupo paper and if so, what kind of ink is best if I don't want to polish it off as I saw you do on the show. many thanks Christine x
