Softer Teal...

Happy Tuesday,

A softer teal card today as its tied in with coconut white and is relatively simple ( I know I always say that but the dies really do all the work for you!)

I stared by cutting a panel of coconut white and cut the Aquira gemini die into the bottom using the detail and the bottom die.  I then cut just the detail out of the top form the Hannah frames and tags die.  I then added a panel of embossed coconut white embossed with then linda leaves 5 x 7" embossing folder.

Next I cut the inline die form the hannah in teal and added the detail in white above the stamped sentiment (from my autumn wreath elements clear stamp set)

I added a few layers of Teal and white and a few stick on pearls to finish.  I love the non fussy look of this no bow or embellishments needed!

  28. A lovely card John, as you know I have always said I don't like the teal - but I was visiting The Honeypot this morning and it is actually far nicer in real life than in comes out on a picture so I am eating my words lol. Hope they don't choke me.

    Have a great day

  29. Hi John,
What a beautiful clean card this is done in the white and teal. With putting it in the background under the white it has a much softer look than normally, but there again i'm not one for dark colours all that much, sorry. It's a great idea just having them on standby ready as really how long does it take to make a sentiment up and put it on the card...minutes at the most. Thank you flower for such a lovely opening today,
    love and crafty hugs
    Norah (Glenochil Village)
