Happy Tuesday,
I'm back on Hochanda tomorrow at 8pm with the launch of the new One Day Special featuring the amazing dies form the November collection designed by Sue Wilson for Creative expressions. I have to admit that Im not a fan of the stand alone dies usually but this tree has had me mesmerised since I first saw it! Sue Wilson showed me a card she had made with this black white and red mirror image look and I have spent ages trying to work out how it was made.
The way I have worked out means that if you make one card you get two during the process what a bargain for someone like me who dements like waste! I will demo the techniques used to make these cards on my shows tomorrow or Thursday so tune in to see how it was done ( as its really difficult to explain!)
I've included pictures of close up of both cards can you tell the difference?
Enjoy...
Gorgeous, xxx

Hi John and crafters all,
ReplyDeleteLove these cards, they look so complicated, and I no that is not really the case.
Years ago when coloured peel offs where all the rage I used to do cards similar to this, then no big frame dies so all cut by hand.
Love and crafty hugs to all

ReplyDeleteFantastic and very effective. Sue did something like it recently but I think yours benefits from the extra mat/layer that ties everything together better.
