fancy a Coffee?...

Happy Saturday,

Today finds me doing my last workshop of the year at JGD crafts in sutton in ashfield.  I have arranged a good friend to sort my diary for next year for me so there will be, after Christmas is out of the way, a new page listing all my demos and workshops with Links where possible.

Todays card was a demo on Hochanda in the 9am hour yesterday however I did manage to spill PVA dimensional glue over the card as finishing so its well worth a look on rewind if you want a laugh!

This is shaker card with a difference made with the garden shadow box and filled with coffee beans so it smells really homely!

I simply cut the elements from the thanks a latte accessory set in chestnut foundation card.  I then added cosmic white and chocolate brown to make the cream or foam on the latte and on the muffin and donut.

to see exactly how this was made watch on Hochanda rewind HERE.

Enjoy...

  8. Great card and I bet the coffee beans smell wonderful. Wifi in this hotel isn't bad but not good enough for videos, etc. Will have to wait until I get home tonight to watch yours.
    Have a great day.
    Happy crafting.

  9. Hi John
A great card. Glue-gate was such a shame and a cautionary note for us all.

  10. Morning John, I love the latte card, and yes I again did a rewind and watched the show for a 3rd time, I know it wasn't for you but I thought it was so funny because you were a true professional and didn't show how you actually felt inside, we have all done it and I am sure we will do it again and again, however, you did show the repaired card again in the next show and you would never have known it was the same one. 100% a star as always.

    Enjoy your last workshop today

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  11. Hi John, I love this card, and can just imagine the aroma from the coffee beans. The demo was going so well until the glue incident. I had a similar episode last week, but not on live TV, you handled it very well. Take care. Bx

  18. Morning John, I loved watching you demo this lovely card, you were going great guns when the unfortunate accident occurred, such a shame, I bet your heart went 'thud' when it happened. The way you brought the coffees etc to life with the froth and steam was fantastic to watch. I love this.

  23. Great card. Wish I could smell the coffee! I did get to watch your demo shows on hochanda and saw you spill the PVA glue onto your card. OOps! We all make those big mistakes after we have spent so much time and effort making our cards. Sometimes life goes that way. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

All of the cards you have made with the shadow box dies have been brilliant. Using coffee beans as a shaker is genius!
