Pixie Double win...

Happy Thursday,

A double card giveaway today as both of these cards are demos on my Hochanda shows today!  Just leave a comment and 2 will be chosen air random to receive one of todays cards.

Both of the cards today were made using the Candy Pink and silver dream pixie powders and I am planning to demo at least one of the at 9am this morning.

This first card is with a new technique which is a variation of one of Sue Wilsons techniques so tune on to find out what!

This card features the doodle rose wreath as well as the blossom edger die I have really enjoyed using the edger dies and these will be popping up all over the place in the coming weeks!

The second card is another burst of colour!  This is made using the same pixie powders but with my kitchen roll technique which I will be demonstrating today.  Here I have teamed candy pink and plum twist with the star flower spray and just the pierced flags ( told you you would be seeing a lot of these!)

I love the way the flowers look with the handmade paper of the pixie powdered kitchen roll.  I will be demoing this technique today so tune in at 9am, 12pm, 4pm and last chance at 7!

Enjoy...

  1. Two great cards today for lucky winners. I bought some pixie powders ages ago but haven't had time to play with them yet. Maybe this weekend as it's the Classic Car show at the NEC and my OH is organising the stand for the Stag Owners Club so he'll be there every day from setting up day today through til Sunday night.
Have a great day today. I'll try to watch on catch up online tonight.
    Happy crafting.

Lovely show last night John really enjoyed it, now waiting for today's shows.
Lovely cards today - first one has the edge for me, the edger die looks gorgeous and the pixie powder background is nice.
Second card pretty in its own right but the flowers seem to fade into the background.
Love and crafty hugs to all

  37. Two awesome cards today. I especially like the pixie powder kitchen roll technique card. I have been using your kitchen roll technique of collecting the remaining pixie powder liquid in my pixie powder box. The crumpled-up papers always reveal something special! I still have not used the dried kitchen roll sheet on a card. I got to see your last night show on hochanda and will check out your today's shows, too. I always learn something from you. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

  50. Hi John
These cards are gorgeous. I have the doodled rose but haven't used it, you have given me some great ideas to get started with it.
Until I saw you demo the star flower cluster I wasn't going to get that die as I have some similar but now I need it, I just love what you did with it.
    Keep up the good work.
    Best wishes
