It's Black and White again...

Happy Sunday,

Dont firget Julia Watts and I am at Inspirations in Preston today demoing form 11am till 4pm so pop in and say Hi if you are about!

Another card from my shows last week with the Justrite stamps and dies and I wanted to show another sample made with the three in a row die form just rite.  This was another die that didn't get demoed as it sold out so quickly.    Once again, as in yesterdays card I cut this three times across the front of a piece of coconut white foundation card.  This time however I only cut every other window using the matching squares dies in the set  I used the square dies cut from white and mounted these on top of the uncut back areas,   Hopefully this will kale more sense in the next picture.

Next I threaded white and black seam binding through and over the squares I alternated the colours over and under each other to give a black and white tartan effect.

Next I cut two of the garden circle die in black and white offsetting the black against the white so that it shows up against the background.

Finally I added a classic bow in black and white and one of the stunning pearl embellishments from Always and Forever form Craft Consortium.

Enjoy...

  4. Morning. Love mono cards and really love this new collection from Justrite especially the large background stamps and garden circle dies. I've now got my sparkle embossing powders but just need to feel a little healthier before I go back into my den to play. Hope you both have another day of fun xx

  27. Good morning John,
Well your card is certainly very striping today (sorry i couldn't resist the pun), i can see that a few now if i get this wrong i'm sorry but football isn't my forte, Magpie supporters loving this one. With a simple change of the heart embellishment, it could be for male or female. I think my daughters mother in law would like this card as she is minimalistic styled person and she would just love this black and white as it is so stylish. Thank you John for something really that bit different looking. I hope that you and Julia had a lovely day down where you were demoing. Have a great day flower and thank you,
