Something Different Saturday...

Happy Saturday,

Today I am demoing at Colemans Wharehouse in Rushed, if you are in the area why not pop in and say hi!  Todays Something different is the flower Ball I quickly showed on my last set of Hochanda Shows in March.  I wanted to show the finished bouquet and I thought it was something different, yet pretty, to do with your patterned paper.

This is a simple Origami fold that looks really effective when made into a flower and as I have done here used in different colours form my new Spring Shades paper pack.  The link HERE will show you how to make this flower as it is a classic origami fold

To make this flower I cut the 8 x 8 paper into four piece making 4 sheets that ware 4 x 4.  I then made the foods and cut each piece into two diagonally which meant i got 2 petals from each square.

Enjoy...

My Sster and I made all the flowers for my Daighters wedding doing this style of flower the smallest flowers were done with 1.5 inch square papers (for button holes & corsages)

I'm off to my Saturday craft workshop later & hoping your stamps I have ordered have arrived.

Sadly didn't get to see the show you did this on as I think it probably one of those things I need to see being done visually. They look so pretty and are a great home decor project.

  40. Hi John, lovely to see you today at Colemans, really touched that you remembered me, (you must see so many people!). Great demo's with the new polishes and thanks for pointing out the ones that I don't have!!! It is always such a pleasure to watch the passion that you have in the products that you use, the way that you use them and the way that you so naturally demonstrate to everyone, look after yourself and take a break every now and then, Leanne xx
