Feeling the beige...

Happy Monday,

I have been getting really into the Black and white recently and thought it was time I mixed it up a little, so I added some beige however I used milk foundation card to stand in for beige!  There is a sign on my Craft Cave wall which I was given by a retailer which Reads "Life's too short for Beige!" which I love however sometimes we just have to!

With so much on this week Im afraid theres just the pictures and ingredients list Im hoping to have some sneak peaks read for you all by the end of the week!

Ingredients:
Card Size: 18 x 21 cm
Colours: Coconut White & Milk foundation card
Stamps: JL pierced flag sentiments
Dies: Scattered Leaves background
Embossing:Leafy quad
Inks: Jet Black archival ink,
Embellishments: cream Tulle, Black and natural jute, satin pearl flowers ( all CE)

Enjoy...

  19. Morning John, yes this card will do me lovely, I also like the colours but what I really do like is the flowers and the stick pins, so spill the beans did you make the flowers (as Sue does) by folding in half some ribbon and then using glue (or dst) and roll them up, or have you found another way of doing it.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  22. Hi John,
You just can't beat Monochrome, it looks so classy, it looks more cream on my screen, but there is nothing wrong with a bit of 'middle age beige'!!!!
Looking forward to your shows xxx

  23. Morning John, love today's card. I would have to agree with you about how striking black and white or black and cream cards look. You do have to be a bit careful to make sure you use about equal quantities of each colour because if there is too much black it can look a bit sombre.
I really love this die too, I thought it was one of the nicest of the last launch.
