Another card form my shows yesterday this time in one of my favourite colours the stunning Ginger Foundation card. Ive always had a love of Autumn shades so there may be a few more of these popping up over the coming weeks.
I stated by cutting a long pierce of milk foundation card I then cut the centre filigree section of the Lattice and Lace triplet, designed by Sue Wilson, from this card starting at the left hand side.
Next I took a piece of ginger card and embossed the lattice and lace striplet only. I then cut each of the flowers out of this embossed piece by hand to make the flowers that would fit exactly into the spaces in the cut section. I glued these onto the back so that the flower was covered from the front.
To make up the card I mounted the topper to the right hand side and added a few stick on pearls to highlight the centres of the flowers. Next I from mounted the whole pic on deep cocoa foundation card so that you can really see the detail of the striplet die cut.
A layer of milk card, embossed with the eternity eA4 embossing folder and highlighted with pearl moon gilding wax finishes the final layer.
As I will be saying when I use these darker shades you could simply change the colours to make it match the occasion you want to make it for
Phill Martin is taking over the One Day Special spot tonight at 8pm with his stunning bracket stamps, don't forget to tune in!
