Happy Saturday,
Just a quickie today as I mentioned I have a workshop today in Loughborough which is local to me me so it make s nice change not to drive miles!
Todays card Is a more complex version of the card I posted last week click HERE to see the original post.
I did the same technique as I described with the quilted blocks triplet however this time I cut the centre form the piece by hand. I then threaded the heather seam binding through the die cut piece and added a (sorry ladies) large bow and a small pearl embellishment.
I finished with a sentiment stamped o the smallest pierced take and a white frame to make this 20 x 20cm card blank.
Ingredients:
Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson
Quilted blocks
Pierced Tags
Cobalt & Coconut white foundation card.
Enjoy...

super card as Always, John. Enjoy your day too.
ReplyDeleteHi John, beautiful card, love the colours and the quilted blocks. The seam binding is a gorgous colour. I really like the way you have interwoven the ribbons where they meet and threaded it under some of the background but I think the large bow covers most of it up so you don't see that detail so much, I might have gone for a slightly smaller bow to show this detail off a bit more. Still a gorgeous card though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day - blessings - Deb C xx
