Classic Christmas Demo...

Happy Saturday,

Im demoing at Sew Simple in Norwich today between 10am and 4pm if you are in the area pop in and I will show you round the rest of my Christmas samples (told you I love making christmas things!) as well as some stamping and die cutting demo's and tutorials!

Todays card is one of the ones I will be demoing although think I will be doing it in gold!  This is made simply using Sue's fire and ice techniques tied with the snowflake background die.  I also die cut some of the lovely winter tress from card that I gilded.  I know this looks complex but the dies and technique do all the work for you!

I added the video on this technique, made by Sue Wilson on this technique to a blog post last week, click HERE to see the original post.

Once I've demoed this in the gold I will post the pictures on Facebook so hopefully some posts to come later today!

Enjoy...

  1. Morning John, a beautiful card but I bet it looks better in real life the photo doesn't do it justice. Sorry I don't do Facebook.

  2. Morning John, another beautiful creation, I bet the photo doesn't do it justice either, it is always much nicer to see it in the flesh so to speak.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  12. Hi John,
Lovely card and as others have said photo probably doesn't show up the detail and do it justice. I know the craft shop you'll be demoing at, I often go when visiting my family. Enjoy your day and will have a look at Facebook later.
    Thanks for sharing,

As the girls say, the pics don't do it justice as I've seen this in the flesh and its gloriously gilded.
Don't do FB so hope we see the gold one on here.

  22. Hi John
What a lovely card. But I don't think the silver shows up very well on my image. As usual it probably looks fantastic in the flesh, so to speak. Look forward to seeing it in gold.

  27. I agree with the others too, I imagine it looks fantastic but the detail of the die
seems to have got lost in the photo which is such a shame.
Unfortunately I am not on face book either but would still love to see it in gold.
