Monday Giveaway....

Happy Monday,

Rather than a Card giveaway this week, as I need all the samples for my stamp launch on Create and Craft therefore I will be giving away a set of my stamps today!  I will enter the name of everyone who comments on todays post and the chosen winner will get one of my new stamp sets (when I can buy one as still not sure of the stock levels) sent to them!

I have had a lot of questions from people asking where can you buy these at the moment the answer is I'm not sure!  they are due for release to craft shops this week and I know quite a few ordered them but as to which ones I don't know.  If you have a local craft shop I would advise, if you want a set or two that is lol, that you ask if they can order them for you.  Failing that the whole range will be available on Create and Craft this Saturday.

Todays set is the third set from first range of stamps (as a reminder all the stamp sets featured this week were designed and drawn by me!) called Butterfly Dreams.  When I was drawing these I had to do a butterfly because who doesn't love a butterfly! One on my favourite dies from Sue Wilson's die collections was the magical butterflies, so I had to match my stamps to this one so that I could use them on my show and for my samples.

Therefore the first card (pictured) today features the butterfly magic die and the matching stamp to die for as well as one of the main elements from this set.  When I was demoing some of my stamps last week everyone loved the elements on this set, especially the bubbles.  Therefore I thought I would show you one of the pages I made last week.

Here is the tag,

Enjoy...

  5. These are beautiful John, love Butterflies so you cannot go wrong with these. The bubbles remind me of one of Barbara Grays stencils 'Bubbles' lol! These would go for any occasion and once again the sentiments are lovely, its good to have different sentiments otherwise you keep putting the same old thing on a card lol! Good luck with your shows.

  17. Good morning John,
I love this set as well and it is unusual to see a bubbles stamp as in looking like those ones that do dishes and are a soft as can be (you know the ones that we all grew up with). Thanks John for a lovely card and tag, but i want to know about the acetate panel with the bubbles and script as it is beautiful. I hope that you get a lot of comments John and that they stay with you as you are very talented and deserve to get the recognition.

  28. I love your new stamps sets John - but its exceedingly tedious having to go to the website, then trawl through the list of suppliers, only to find they didn't order the whole set, just the ones you didn't want. Seems daft to me that you can't order direct. I resent paying £7.99 just to get a stamp set from C&C (I live in Ireland, and that's what they charge per item).

  35. Hi John, another beautiful card. I have just ordered an assortment of Foundation cardstock as I missed out on Create & Craft as they sold out so quickly. Looking forward so much to receiving it all, fabulous colours. I am so grateful for all your hints and advice you gave me at your recent demonstration in Carlisle, specially how to take photographs of my cards. Thanks again for that. Kind regards Lesley.

  39. Hello John and all

Adorable. I think these are the nicest stamps so far. I love the effect you have with the stamping on acetate aperture. The bubbles are so sweet, I think the pearls on the tag is very effective and the sentiments are lovely. Thanks for sharing.

    Best wishes

  40. Hi John

Butterflies are popular, I think these will be too. I especially like the font. Reminds me of the styles and designs from the 1920s- 1930s. The bubbles are a cool feature, different from flowers/ hearts which isn't always my thing. I do love the tag, it's the sort of thing I like to do, stamping on top of many colours of ink, the catd is very elegant and shows how well your stamps go with Sue's die.

    Hugs
