Simple Gemini Sunday...

Happy Sunday,

Well its the last of the Gemini Dies today and its the turn of the Phoenix today.  This is deceptively simple die with some beautiful debased areas that make a die cut piece simply sing.  Now as I have mad more complex cards with the other Gemini dies I have made a more complex one with this one however I will post that next week as it needs time to dry and it is simple Sunday.  I ahem also been playing with one of my favourites the Lyra die so you will see more of that one over the coming weeks I promise.

back to today a simple A4 grey card scored and folded in half with the border piece form the Eternal Rings striplet cut down the right hand died.  I have then cut the Phoenix die using both edges to make a single piece in the same grey.  I mounted this on a piece of blush card embossed with the Daisy Tiers A4 embossing folder onto the inside of the card so that the die cut is visible through the window.  A simple sentiment and a strip of pink ribbon from my stash and a simple, but hopefully effective card is made in minutes.

Ingredients:
Sue Wilson's Gemini Collection Phoenix die
Eternal Rings Striplet die
Blush & Grey foundation Card
Creative Expressions A4 embossing folder Daisy Tiers
Ribbon from stash.

Enjoy...

Not keen on the colour choice but a lovely design that could be used with different dies too.

  10. How did we ever make cards without die cuts? These dies are just adorable and this simple card shows how easy it is to get something really nice very easily with the dies.

  15. Hi John
I have enjoyed this week's cards with the Gemini dies. Genius concept. I hadn't clocked how well they match the background dies (Friday's card). A lovely concept in today's card. Best wishes, Anne O
