Final Scheduled Post... & Workshop News!

Happy Tuesday,

Well today should see us all back and hopefully tanned and refreshed!  So this should be the last of the shorter, scheduled, posts!

I've saved another of my faves from the shows a couple of weeks ago for today!

Ingredients:
Sue Wilson's Dies
Delicate Daisies Full Petals
Delicate Daisies Open petals
Fern Trio
Couture Creations Grand Weave Embossing folder
Milk and Duck Egg foundation card
Light Blue seam binding

The other brilliant bit of news is now that the new release of Sue's dies is finally here I can release the pictures of the projects I am making in the workshop I am holding at Creative Expressions in Kettering on Thursday!  There are a few places left if you want to get a chance to either do a workshop with Me or your first chance to get to play with Sue New Release dies.

The workshop is 2 hours long (at least if not longer the way I can chat) and costs £20, places can be booked through Tracey at Creative Expressions on 01536 481778 during office hours.  In the workshop you will make both the card and the box using the Scandinavian collection, Gilding Flakes, Distress Ink, Gilding Wax and my favourite Vintage Gold card!  You will also get to use the new Ivy die which is one of my favourites from the new launch.

I will also be holding a full workshop day with three different projects on January 27th I will release pictures of those projects next week and you will be able to either attend the morning, afternoon or all day session.  Details to follow.

Enjoy...

  1. Hi John. Great first card, I love the contrasting colours and the wreath. Sues new dies are gorgeous, once again she has hit the nail on the head. You are so lucky to get to play with them all and the second card and box are lovely. I wish I could get to a workshop with you. Any chance of holding some in the Oxford area? I hope you have a safe journey home. Take care.

  9. Morning John,
Hope you had a good journey home. Love the design of your first card, but I'm not getting the true colours on my screen it's showing a more of a yellow and murky mauve, so I'll just have to imagine the right colours. The box and card look lovely, hope the day goes well.

  10. Good morning John,
i do love your wreath style of card as the fern die has made a beautiful full wreath. Not sure that i would have chosen your colours but it has given me an insight as to how they look together which is different from what i would have imagined. I LOVE your second card with the fire of the gilding flakes and the beautiful die cut on top with the ivy, it looks soooooo pretty. The antique or soft gold of the card just looks so right with it and makes it look expensive. Thank you John for your lovely ideas and i hope you have enjoyed your holiday. Sorry i couldn't come yesterday but computer had packed up,

  21. Hi John,
Really like today's offerings, especially the gilded card/box lid.
And the more one looks at the blue one, the more beauty one sees (at least I do).
