Im Listening!

Happy Sunday,

Just a quick one last night of the play was rather taxing lol and despite my reservations I thought I should share a couple of pictures!

There is me in costume, one of Stephanie who plays Sweet Charity (and sings like an angel) and me at rehearsals!  The other one is from the play tonight, Sweet Charity & Oscar meeting whilst trapped in a lift!  as you can tell I (Oscar) am a little scared as I am trapped in a lift with a beautiful woman!

You may notice that this card looks familiar well i did post it originally HERE however the general feeling was that the ribbon strip was too wide and heavy.  Therefore I took it back and whilst I love the die cuts down the side I thought I should try again with this one.  Here is the version where, hopefully, i showed that I listened and made changes.

Feedback is the main reason I started my blog and I genuinely value your opinion we can all improve and it is only through suggestions, comments and criticism ( and you guys frame everything you say so beautifully!)  that we can learn and grow!

Enjoy...

  2. Ah John I wish I could have been there, you look great. I look forward to reading the review in the local paper.I´m sure it was a great success.
Sheer genius again. Love the 3 square dies. It looks a totally different card and great for male or female.
Try and have a day off today or are you carrying on packing?
    Take care. Love Val x

  4. Hola John
Love the original card but the ribbon was wide. Love this version too, which makes you take in the whole card.
Don't you look handsome in that hat! They're going to miss you!
    Happy packing.

Thanks for showing us the great photos of the play...you look very dapper in blue.
I agree the narrower strip does look better and it's a great card.

  14. Hi John. Thanks for sharing the pics. You look very convincing as a frightened man : ) I really like the change you have made to the card, I find my eyes take it all in now rather than being only drawn to the wide bow. Some people get very upset by constructive criticism but I also find it really helpful, you can learn so much from another persons views can't you. And at the end of the day it is your card and you don't have to listen to anyone else if you don't want to, do you! I must say though, I hardly ever feel the need to say anything other than how much I love your cards etc. as I love your style : ) Take care.
