A Little too much pink?

Happy Thursday,

Opening Night tonight so still AWOL I'm afraid!

Today's offering is a strange combination that, to be honest, I'm not sure I like!  Whilst I love the backing paper and it is blue and pink I'm not sure whether the colours match correctly.  Let me know what you think?!?

The backing paper is First Edition Floral Pavilion with a mixture of spellbinders die cuts in blue, pink and cream.

Ingredients:
First Edition Floral Pavilion paper
Spellbinders Gold Circles one
Spellbinders Elegant Ovals
Spellbinders Gold Ovals
Pink & Cream PMD Smooth Card
Whimsey Stamps sentiment stamp
Stick on Pearls

Enjoy...

Good luck with the show tonight.

  4. Hi John,
The colours are fine, for me the large pink die cut is perhaps a bit overpowering, maybe I would have left it off. Mind you in real like I might think differently. Don't always get a true idea from photos.
    Hope you show goes well.

  6. I agree with Lydia The colours are gorgeous but O too think the big pink die cut is too much and wouldn't have bothered with it at all

  7. Hi John. Love the paper and colours but like some others I think that the pink die is too big, otherwise it is gorgeous. Break a leg : ) Take care.

  8. You can never have enough pink! But I think the oval die is a bit heavy too.
Break a leg tonight, and have fun!

  9. Hola John
Beautiful. I love that FE pad too (along with all the others lol!). Maybe a leeeeetle bit too much of the pink die cuts on display but not a deal breaker.
Have fun tonight and enjoy the roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd! (Or is it it the other way round hahaha!)
    Buena suerte mi amigo!

  13. Hi John, I like the card, the colours are good together, the backing paper is pretty. I just don't particularly like the spellbinders shape. Not soft enough, looks at bit spikey. Only my opinion though, most of the comments before me like it. Janice x

  14. John, think I must join the rest of your fans who think the large pink background medallion is too heavy in feel for the rest of that lovely, dainty card. Isn't it funny how, when you complete a seemingly coordinated project, some elusive element niggles at you and leaves you unsettled? Happens to all of us at some point.
Break A Leg tonight and enjoy the experience!
