Final Bow Tutorial

Happy Tuesday,

Well as promised here is my last bow tutorial, hopefully everyone has now bought or made their bowmakers ready for this one.  Todays tutorial is on making the pearl wrapped bow as shown in this card...

Todays bow is very similar to the messy bow I made for the first tutorial however with the addition of the strips of pearls the technique changes.  Watch on to see what I mean!

The remainder of this card is simply layers of blue and white cardstock embossed and studded with pearls.  The focal elements is a frame cut with the two largest of Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM mounted on a whole cut oval stamped with a Waltzing Mouse sentiment.

Having reviewed the video it is a little dark in places sorry We will do better next time!

Enjoy...

  7. Luvly card and thanks for the bow tutorial - I have bought a bow maker cos although I thought it would be easy to tie a double bow by hand I personally found it quite difficult - the bow maker makes it look sooo easy xx GailT xx

  13. Hello John
Another lovely card - I love the embossing with the pearl accents - AND a video to boot. I often visit a village in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca and there is a Chinese shop in the local town. My husband won't believe it when I go in search of stash next time we're there!
    Best wishes
