A Little Late

Morning Friends,

Todays post is the promised, and late, video tutorial from Tuesday and is the follow on from last weeks messy bow tutorial, Click HERE if you missed it or want another view!

Todays tutorial is made to show you how, using the same simple bow maker, you can make the flat double bow I have used on this card...

here is a detail of the bow...

The video tutorial is below, please let me know what you think!

This card is made in simple PMD cardstock in Navy and cream using Spellbinders Curved Borders one, Nesting Circles small and Gold circles one.  The stamp is from waltzing Mouse...

Enjoy,

John x

  6. Great tute John. I wish the sellers of your bowmaker would be prepared to ship to Ireland. Love the card too, with the bracket edge.

  7. What a great tut John, I will be getting my dad to put the smaller holes in the bowmaker that he made me, so that I can produce these sorts of bows. They are beautiful as is your card. Thank you for the inspiration, as I have lost my mojo right now, so I am just looking and not making. Hugs, Jen x

  8. Hi John. Another great tut. Will be trying it out but will have to get two small holes made in my bowmaker first. Videos from you and Sue Wilson in one day - we're getting spoilt.
Beautiful card today - loving the colours.

  11. Dear John and Wendy
What a great production. And a lovely card too. So double bubble today!
I'm going to set my husband the task of making me a bow maker - surely not that hard to do?
I'll let you know how it goes!
Thanks again - so much hard work in both the card and the video.
    Best wishes, Anne O

  12. Hi Anne,
I don't think the bow maker is hard to make mine is just a piece of wood with holes drilled in it! I had to buy one as my DIY skills are not good (no one wants to see with a drill in my hand!)

Let me know how he gets on!

  13. Hi John, I am on to ask you a favour if you could help me out. Could you tell me the measurements of your block which you make your ribbons on and the measurements of your dowels. I want to get them exactly right and it is difficult to work out just looking at the video. Thanks Jen x
