Normal Service Resumes !?!

Good Monday Morning,

I managed to spend a little time in the craft room yesterday however apart from todays offering they were all cards for my design team blogs!  Therefore I have a simple filigree card for you today, I felt the sentiment, from Whimsy Stamps, was right...

"I may not have gone where I intended to go but I think I have ended up where I needed to be"

I think this sums up, to me  at least, the ups and downs of life.



This card was made using the filigree technique using Spellbinders Elegant labels four as the base card.  Next I cut a mat of My Minds Eye paper and foam mounted this onto the card base.  This was then finished with a cut from Spellbinders Radiant rectangles with the sentiment stamped on top using Archival Black.  This was foam mounted over a strip of woven ribbon and a butterfly from Spellbinders Las Papillion's 2 and, of course, a pearl!

    I am just doing a catch up after having a two day affair with out 50th Wedding Anniversary Party and renewing our vows , I tried to email you to explain i had not deserted you, but the link did not work for me .

The sentiment words you have selected are so true for so many of us I think and I love the construction of the card. I assumed at first it was like your filigree tutorial but think perhaps you placed a folded card just inside the cutting line on one side? Would be interested to know please.   10. John, love the sentiment. If like me you believe in fate then this sentiment will ring true to you. We all think we are making our own decisions but you never know who is controlling your life until you look back at your decision and wonder why you went one way instead of another? A bit too deep for a Monday morning........ I need another coffee!!!!!!. Janice x
