something different Saturday

3 different pictures , quick, today...

Firstly a hand made, fabric, bauble I made a series of last year.  This year I am hoping to make more and make some embroidered ones which I will feature on a Saturday nearer Christmas!

I have use this as a prop in a lot of my pictures and thought (hoped) it deserved a close-up!

Secondly a couple of tags, and the bauble, made with the scraps left over from making some of my Christmas in August cards.

Finally my newly purchased craft stash packed case (thankfully I have clothes etc. in U.K. House as no room to take any back)  I should run a contest to guess the value but I don't want to work it out as I have been saving for ages to buy all the basics in the U.K. that cost sooooo much to have posted to me in Spain.

Flying Later so Home tomorrow!

Enjoy x

  1. Hi John, looks like you've had a great spend and bough some fab crafty goodies.
I love your little Christmas makes they're just beautiful.
Safe journey back home, Kate X

  2. Hi John. Glad you managed to fill your case with loads of lovely goodies and not (boring) clothes etc! Your heart is gorgeous, very simple but oh so Christmas, love it. Hope you have a safe journey home. Take care.

  3. Hi John. Loving the bauble and the tags. Your case looks so exciting and the best part is when you get home, lay it on the bed and minutely examine everything. Like you, I have clothes in my sons and friends houses in the UK so it's either 15 or 20 kilos worth of lovely craft goodies in the case.
Have a good flight home John.
    Love Val x

  4. Hi John,

  6. Hola John
Your bauble is fab. My sewing skills are very basic so I leave alone.
I know how much you spent in one shop so I can see why you have a case full lol!
Have a safe journey home. x

  7. Hi John, love your Christmas makes, especially the heart. Looks like you've done your bit to boost the UK economy with all of your crafty purchases!
Have a safe journey home, Maggie x

  8. Nice stash John, I know what you mean, it costs just as much to get stuff sent to me here in Ireland. Love the Bauble too.

  9. John your suitcase looks interesting... looking forward to seeing what you will create over the next few weeks. What a talented man you are to be able to sew as well. Now that the rain has descended you are going back home to the sun. Lucky man. Have a safe trip back and hopefully your luggage wont go missing like it did for Christine Emberson!! Janice x

  10. Love your heart John and as for your stash, well I'm sure we would all like a good rummage. All looks most interesting so we will have to wait until you use some to really see it all - or is it just for getting out and stroking this year??!! Best wishes Jackie

  11. Hi John,
Love your pretty 'makes' on show today.
You are indeed a multi talented man. OH will miss you I'm sure, but they do say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Looking forward to you getting back to enJOHNeering some boxes and stuff for us to drool over next week. I expect you already have ideas in mind for all that you have secreted in your case. I would love to be a fly on the wall if you get stopped at customs or whatever they call it these days.
Bon voyage, no point waving as you fly overhead today, its currently overcast!
    Take care

  12. Having difficulty getting internet here in St Lucia
