Something Different Saturday

Hello friends,

Todays something different is a mix of two recent styles a box and notebooks, and even a pencil.  I have been very short on time recently, so there is no tutorial with this one however the style of the letter rack is easy to copy.
The letter rack is made from chipboard glued together in sheets to make a very thick construction type board.  I would of liked to use Foam Core but can't find it over here and the size makes it very heavy to import!  I  have covered it in First Edition paper from the Floral Pavilion pack.

The decoration on this is very simple, I used the Spellbinders Bauble Blossoms die to make the flowers along with Leaves cut with the spellbinders foliage die and Core'dinations paper in green.

The items inside are a simple notebook, Address book and a pencil  These have been covered in a matching paper, from the same pack, which is an easy way to match tone or pattern.

I have added a strip of the letter rack paper across the bottom matted on a matching pink plain cardstock.  This has the flower and leaf attached along with matching pink ribbon.

The address book was purchased cheap as the cover was ripped, perfect for refinishing!  I simply recovered this and decorated in the same way.  Finally the pencil is simply wrapped in the rose paper using Anita's tacky glue, which means it can even be sharpened.  Enjoy...

These would be wonderful to sell in the gift shop or even open your own?
